I'm looking for a ladies WWII German uniform. I'm not looking for something with the patches (insignia), just the overall "feel" of the sleek, tight, yet feminine uniform. I want something commanding but is not from American military nor American police. I also like nostalgia.
I'm also open to suggestions on how to recreate this effect with another type of costume/uniform.
I prefer cloth but am not against pvc, latex, or leather.

Is you want a "real" vantage  ss uniform it is not only going to be tough to find but even harder to fit , you may have to fork out the big buck for that  authentic uniform in a larger size and have it altered .
There is another option buy a reproduction one , most every gun show i have ever been to has these reproduction items , some antique malls also have them too .
In the film "the night porter " many ideas can be had , there is one bar dance torch song number that is very hot and she just wore the hat pants elbow length leather gloves and suspenders , singing to the ss officers .

If not gifted in sewing, find a good tailer. Then have fun looking through a pattern book at the fabric store and finding suitable material you love. The result will be a custom fit and something totally you.[:)] And it isn't as expensive as one might think this way.

There are military gear shops that have used WWII stuff of all kinds in most large cities in North America.

For specific objects (German arm bands etc), they might be found on e-bay.  Maybe even some Hallowe'en costume shops.

I wanted to post a link sent to me via private message.

cool hat

The tunics (etc) on that site are too large but I think with a few key accessories I can achieve the look I'm going for.

Thank you for the posts so far, I will keep an eye for additional suggestions on this thread!

You could also try some costume hire places to see if they have any they want to sell.  Or if not, they might make one up for you.  If you are concerned about asking someone to make on, just say you are getting it either for a fancy dress party or for an amateur theatre performance you will be in.

Try some of the military surplus shops online. Sportsman's Guide ( http://www.sportsmansguide.com ) has a selection of former Soviet block nation uniforms, that save for the markings and in some cases the colors would easily fit the bill. Look under their military surplus and then uniform coat/jackets, etc.

You might also want to check out steampunk sites online. Uniforms are very popular with that crowd as well and there are many resouces available there.

or you could ask Prince Harry where he got his...but likely his was custom made (a family heirloom).

An original SS uniform coat is going to run around US$4,000+ and as a military collector, modifying an incredibly rare original article is a travesty. But several companies make good reproductions for reenactors and collectors. personally I would recommend a black SS M32 Uniform and have it tailored to fit you. Evan as a Dominant man I just think there's something hot about a women in a black SS uniform.

Both have a good selection and are reasonably priced.

supposedly makes the most authentic uniforms you can buy to the point of matching stitch count.

I recommend checking ebay for East German or DDR militaria or uniforms. They are very similar in cut to WWII German.  Key search words are "DDR" "NVA" (National Volks Army) and "East German".

You can get a complete rig, in female (or effete European male) size with boots for $100 or maybe less--that's a peaked officer style cap (schirmutze) tunic, pants and boots and maybe a belt.
