Hello

I have a question about a vein near my sphincter. Before I get to it I'll try to provide background and applicable information.

I had a business school I had to attend for work last year, and was gone from Sept until the end of the year, at which time we packed our house and moved to the US. Between the school, move and shipment wait time, it's been over 6 months since we had any anal play. We want be safe and not rush things, so we started like we did as if we were doing this for the first time. We pulled the dilators out again and started very small, and slowly worked our way up. I get stretched for about 10-15 mins about 4-5 days out of the week. We take days off, and if it ever hurts or feels to forced we stop and try again the next day. We might be more conservative in our advancement then needed but we want to play it safe so there wouldn't be set back. I'm now up to an inch an half, which isn't that big, but we know historically for me size increases slow down a lot from this point. Ideally we want to get back to 2" that she can easily use her Feeldoe Stout (1 3/4) as well as the nJoy 2.0. We expect to take about another month possibly more to each that point.

Now on to the question, earlier this week a vein appeared at my sphincter, it's maybe 1/4 wide and only about 1/8 long. It's not painful in anyway and it doesn't itch like a hemorrhoid. First day we skipped the stretch to see if it would go away, second day it was still there, but we decided to try and stretch anyways, but take it even slowed and stop if it even hurt a little tiny bit. It didn't as far as I could tell there was no difference, and if she hadn't told me it was there I never would have know.

So, should we keep playing as long as it doesn't hurt? Any idea's what it is? I am very hesitant to ask a doctor about it, because my doctor (from employers HC plan) is definitely not kink friendly (i've tried to feel him out since we arrived here).

Thanks for any time or advice you have to offer.

Megan

A hemorrhoid  is a vein around the sphincter that becomes inflamed, so it is probably a hemorrhoid. Can't say for sure as I have not personally seen it.  Not all of them are painful, itchy or bleed.

Betting that it's a hemorrhoid.  I believe medical cauterization is often used to get rid of them.  They can be caused by all sorts of things, not just matters kinky, so if you're not comfortable talking frankly with your doctor, you could explain tha tyou had a stomach virus and lots of diarrhea and digrstive malaise and 'boom', this vein popped out.
I am a huge fan of using straight up Vitamin E oil on anal (And just about any other cracks/tears/wounds) as I believe it facilitates faster healing but if the issue persists, I think you're going to need to visit a doctor.
Best wishes,
