I think the term you are searching for is "progressive dinner". They are fun, although you really have to watch your alcohol consumption. Designated drivers and navigators are a must. I seldom drink. I can be loud and silly without it.

the feelings are mutual there little one, I always have a great deal of respect for an intelligent, cordial person. You'd have to bring your husband along though so I can congratulate him. I'll have to drop you a line when I'm finally ready to leave this country as well and my escape path through Rio has been found out.

Folsom Street Fair is always the 3rd weekend in September. Lawrence is coming to SF for the event this year :-) If you wanted to gather on another weekend in San Francisco, we could rent the local dungeon for a private event www.sfcitadel.org. It's a great play space.

I'm open to visits to other cities. I'll be in Washington, D.C. for Black Rose in November (as will Lawrence & Taggard, I believe). It might make sense to pick an existing event to meet. Black Rose and Thunder in the Mountains (Denver, July) are my two favorites. I'd consider TES Fest (NY, not sure when) as well.

I am a bit too busy to plan anything as yet. I bit off a project at work that has taken more time than I imagined. I'm upgrading computers for retail stores and the work must be done before they open or after they close. Our stores open as early as 6am and close as late as 11pm in some cases. There are about 250 to be done... I thought I'd try to sleep during the day but that hasn't happened. I've been averaging 4 hours a night this week and I'm trashed. So, it's not that I've lost interest in the forums, I've lost time to dedicate for the near future.

If someone else wants to step up to organize, please do!

If we can dream it, we can do it.

Come to Folsom 2004! Not sure if Lawrence & I will go to the Odysswey Fringe event yet or not, but if not we will be playing at the Citadel Saturday night. Folsom Street Fair is sometimes called the "high leather holy day" and is not to be missed.

If not, plan for 2005 and let me know. I should still be living her most likely.

I Do play the word games a lot and would
like to meet some of them folk.
As far as interacting here, what I have
experienced, I wouldn't mind meeting
Lawrence and Estring...I find their posts
to be not only warm but also at the same time
hilarious. And getting the info from proud about
Topcat's ass, I too would like to see that, and
me being a lesbian sub yet[:o], But I am an ass
lover and a good ass is a good ass[;)].
I would also like to meet Kiki, I find her very friendly
and she was nice to me when I first joined in the post

That sounds about right to me! I'd love to meet some of my faves from the boards....

I could never limit it to one person: I'd love to meet the NY contingent, since I haven't been able to make it to one of their gatherings yet. But, of course I'd have to bring my pal Proudsub, and my other crush, Estring. Would be entertaining of course to have Estring and Estrict in the same room- just to make sure they are NOT the same person after all.

Definetly curious to meet iwill as he and I have had our *moments* on here....and then I'd like to meet LadyBecket as well.

Now, if we could find that cozy place with the groovin jukebox and mellow atmosphere here in Chicago....well, that would be awesome!

There are several people i would love to meet with off the Boards and all for different reasons.

i find MistressDread so interesting, open, honest - i bet lunch with her would be unforgettable.

theroebabe, sweetpleaser, proudsub, darkpetal - Sister subs i have a great respect for and a lot in common with. Would love to meet offline for some "girl talk" and sub bonding.

Estring seems like a funny (nothing better then a Dom with a sense of humor) down to earth Man and i actually tend to always agree with His opinions- would love to meet Him and His slave someday for lunch.

Leonidas which i do not see many posts from anymore but ones i have seen were always well written and i found to usually agree with Him. He has peaked my interest more then once *smiles*

Thanatosian i find very knowledgeable and smart -- bet i could learn a lot from Him in just a afternoon of chatting.

Would love to meet all the Mods especially ModeratorSix (because He seems like a very strong Dom and if profile is correct is 6'5 and 235lbs and i just have this kink for big Men)

Would like to watch one of Topcats public ummmm scenes/shows *shrugs* not sure what you call it *grins* but would like to watch!

i think meeting anyone from the boards would be great! I would love to meet subbiejenn as well; along with Proudsub, Sub4Hire, Kiki, BaileyThorn, thereobabe and Destinyskeins for a ladies night out.

I agree with Jenn that a lunch with MistressDREAD would be very enlightening!

I mentioned in a post before that meeting Ladies Beckett, Angelika and Shoshin would teach me a lot.

As for the men; I would love to meet Happypervert, Estring and iwill because they make me laugh! I would love to have cocktails with Leonidas and NoCal just to watch them spar. I would like to have an intellectual evening with Thanatosian, TallDarkWitty (where has he been by the way?) and Sinergy.

And, I would love Topcat to top me sometime (nonsexual of course) and just parade around in his leather[8D].

I am sure I have missed many. I wish it was possible to have a Collarme convention centrally located so we could ALL meet.
