When I first became aware of this lifestyle (probably about 7 months ago, maybe more) I did a lot of research. And I actually listened to people who said...learn everything you can...don't jump in too soon just to jump...and beware of sub-frenzy....

I have been very careful, and behaved myself very well.

Perhaps a bit too well, as, I find myself these days, feeling a bit like I did in the beginning, and ever too much as people describe 'sub frenzy'

Is it possible to deny your own desires/needs so long that you come full circle? (or am I just feeling...erm...overly hottish for whatever reason?)

There WAS a full moon just recently. I don't have any hair on my palms yet, though...

it can happen at anytime ....sometimes its due to lack of patience, boredom, anything really.

Yup, then it becomes what I consider "climbing the walls."

It's not quite as blindly ignorant and emotional as sub frenzy is, but it's that same deep neediness.

Been there, felt that. I totally agree. There are times (and it doesn't even have to be that long removed from our last scene) when i have some kind of deep need for either my subspace or just the domination. It's all i can think about. Normally Master picks up on this without me even having to say anything but if He doesn't i just have to ask and hope He'll think it's suitable.
Geesh just talking about it...ahhhhh.

the dictionary describes frenzy as a "mania or craze", "temporary madness or delirium", "a state of violent mental agitation or wild excitement".

this slave has seen the phrase "sub-frenzy" tossed about here on this message board and isn't sure of the purpose it serves other than as some flip excuse or detailed justification for not having or using common sense or patience. it has also been used to describe an overabundance of exuberant joy toward the "newness" of recognizing your submissive nature or you first experience with subspace, however it seems to indicate some sort of selfish-ness, as in "all i can think about is being submissive or getting to subspace again, so i must have sub-frenzy". you could just as easily call it "immature behavior", "youthful ignorance", "narcissism", "zest for life" or "living in(or for) the moment" depending on your perspective, but you know how folks are around here, they like having special labels for EVERYTHING.

lol seaturtle...

When I first posted on this subject, I DID tend to dwell on the hottish aspects...but...it's more than that.

I failed to mention that I need the power exchange, and well, many things I'd rather not go into detail about here...

It's not ONLY the hottish aspects that were driving me insane...it's so many things...

i have it. i lost contact with my subbmissive nature for several years due to abandonment issues, but now that my dearest (and Master) finaly stuck with me long enough to heal the urge came on like i had never felt it before. The NEED to serve to feel sheltered in that sense of control washed over me to a degree i had known before, along with it was a deepening of my awareness of what it was.

Example before i had thought Anne Rice's beuty books a drag but now i understand the subtler shows of pelasure and affection and could not put it down.

Maybee a return of "sub-frenzy" is more a matter of the deepening of ones understanding and a drive to feel this new depth of submission to its fullest.

And yes i think Frenzy is an adequate word, cause i hit a drive to do anything to serve to Master, even to the point of anoying the HELL outa Her. So your not alone blushes, you are not alone.
