That seems to be a problem with many into ABDL play. It is often the focus of their play, they want to be in full control of it, and they want it all the time, even to the point of obsession, as you said. There's an interesting article out there if you can manage to find it on google, from a psych's office detailing their experience the first time they had an AB as a patient. The patient ended up trying to twist the therapy into another way of having his play, and was constantly trying to control the direction of discussions. It's somewhat telling that when most people think of an AB, what they think of is someone immature, controlling and obsessed with that play.....and that actually is largely what the majority of ABs are like.

That is the problem with most Abbys... it is me me me me me! If you thought a 4 year old was self centered... holy crow.. try a 30 something year old in a diaper. She would throw actual fits if I did not keep her in a diaper, and change, and feed, and take for a walk.. and all the baby things 24/7
That is simply not a healthy life to be living. She has found a new girlfriend to have that life with.
The ones I have met seem to be very self centered, and all about thier wants, needs, and play time. They might love thier mommies and daddies.. but it is mainly because of the attention they recieve. if that flags, well then they are out of there.
It is why so many Dommes who have had a taste of it I wager dont go back. Who wants a selfish brat they have to cater to and literialy care for 24/7.
Maybe there are some out there not like that.. but they must be rare as hell.
I like my boy he is more balanced... and I can do *my* sorts of nasty thing to him...
