Now, with that aside, here is the fix for your mouth ( along with whatever your primary care physician says )

Rinse your mouth ( and her feet ) with water containing epsom salt, chamomile, comfrey and garlic. This water must be boiled with these ingredients, and rinse every 4 hours.

see a doctor about as it is likley oral thrush 

also to note oral thrush is extremely rare to occur in healthy adults mouths  most adult can fight off....when it does occur it typically indicates a weakened immune system  that can occur from various causes  certain meds such as oral inhalers, auto immune diseases and cancer... so do not be surprised  when your doctor wants to run a lot more tests on you. ... in a way it could be a good thing as it could alert doctor early of a far more serious health issue ...if you do not get the thrush  attended to ..it can become systematic   and extremely serious.
