Per the information given to me by my doctor and the information i received with the patches there was no option given to apply it to the underside of my arm. i went to the Orthro Evra website FAQs (http://www.orthoevra.com/faqs/faqs.html#q10): You can wear the ORTHO EVRA birth control patch on one of four areas of the body: your buttocks, abdomen, upper torso (front and back, excluding the breasts) or upper outer arm. Personally, went i went through my options for birth control i decided upon the patch because A) i'm horrible about remembering to take pills B) there was less chance of weight gain with the patch than there was with the implant or shot options. i've not had experience with it bunching up during sex - perhaps she could experiment with the different four areas given for the patch placement or perhaps experiment with different sexual positions (oh, darn! ). Hope that i was able to help!
