PrincessEllie -> Obnoxious bumps on my butt (2/24/2009 6:31:04 PM)

Not the most pleasant of topics, but maybe talking about my assrash will stop so many CM Doms from sending me messages about how much they want to do me.

For as long as I can remember, I've had these tiny red bumps on my butt. Sometimes they're not even bumps, just red dots. Also, sometimes, they are larger and actually cause me pain. For some ridiculous reason, my Dom doesn't seem to notice them as much as I do, but I know they're there.

Does anyone know what these bumps are, or how to get rid of them? (P.S. It's not a STD or AssAcne (Assne?))

Hmm, I have these too O.o

I thought I was the only one...

um, I haven't found anything about them anywhere XD and I can safely say (in my case) they're not hives :P Nor are they pimples

Theycould be a form of the Herpes virus.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I know that when you sit for long periods of time, you can get folliculitis

(Folliculitis starts when hair follicles are damaged by friction from clothing, blockage of the follicle, or shaving)
which happens to long distance truck drivers and office workers

See a Dermatologist if you can  afford to

PrincessEllie -> RE: Obnoxious bumps on my butt (2/24/2009 7:12:11 PM)

It's not herpes, and I don't think it's folliculitis. But the dermatologist idea is a sound one. I used to go to one for my acne back when I had it (on my face, not my butt). I will see about it again. Thanks!

Not all herpes is the STD form.

o.O

I dunno about the princess, but I've had this since I was 10ish... and I ain't got herpes (at least, not according to blood tests), thank goodness!

The folliculitis is a good point, though.

EDIT:

Also, PrincessEllie I LOVE your cafepress site.

Please explain this assertion moreso.  Anything Herpes Simplex A/1 or B/2 is sexually transmissible (Ie: if it's in your mouth, it can transmit to the genitals and vice versa) but there are manifestations of Herpes virus that aren't inherently sexually transmitted.  I'm curious what you are speaking of.

lusciouslips19 -> RE: Obnoxious bumps on my butt (2/24/2009 10:21:39 PM)

There are many different types of herpes and some which are rash like or bumps covering parts of the body. I am not speaking of simplex.

KokuRan -> RE: Obnoxious bumps on my butt (2/25/2009 1:09:19 AM)

  • Herpes Simplex Virus 1 (HSV-1; causes cold sores and sometimes genital herpes) -Most people get as kids
  • Herpes Simplex Virus 2 (HSV-2; causes genital herpes and sometimes cold sores)- STD
  • Varicella-zoster Virus (VZV; causes chickenpox and shingles)- Not STD
  • Cytomegalovirus (CMV; causes mononucleosis and retinitis)-STD
  • Epstein-Barre Virus (EBV; causes mononucleosis)-STD
  • Human Herpesvirus 6 (HHV6; causes roseola)-illness experienced by infants, spread similarly to chickenpox Not STD
  • Human Herpesvirus 7 (HHV7; causes roseola)-illness experienced by infants, spread similarly to chickenpox Not STD
  • Human Herpesvirus 7 (HHV8; causes Kaposi's sarcoma)- STD

Yeah a friend of mine just had chicken pox and we needed to research in case he had exposed another one of our friends with a weakened immune system.

lusciouslips19 -> RE: Obnoxious bumps on my butt (2/25/2009 5:59:18 AM)

There is also Hepetic Dematitis.
I am not saying thats what the OP has. Just that its always a possibility with small red  bumps.

purepleasure -> RE: Obnoxious bumps on my butt (2/25/2009 6:25:01 AM)

could it possibly be an allergic reaction to some type of soap or detergent that may have changed it's compound?

mdr080480 -> RE: Obnoxious bumps on my butt (2/25/2009 8:13:23 AM)

I had bumps, some reddish, some itchy, on my outer thigh, and a few on the upper part of my face. They seem to have disappeared now, but I was eating tons of strawberries. Since various family members have allergies to some fruit, I reduced my strawberry intake to none and the bumps are gone. It didn't look like hives, but it appeared to be some sort of allergic reaction, because the bumps are gone now.

kiwisub12 -> RE: Obnoxious bumps on my butt (2/25/2009 5:52:31 PM)

Try using a loofa on them. I  used to get them on my upper arms, and a loofa took off the dead cells and they went away. Yeh!

PerversePrincess -> RE: Obnoxious bumps on my butt (2/26/2009 4:51:09 AM)

I used to get red bumps in a variety of awkward places, and it turns out that the root cause was damn bug bites, and in one area the bites led to a skin infection/rash type thing... which cleared up with a quick course of antibiotics. The bites, well, damn bugs have me sleeping with clothes on now... but apparently they still love me... as evidenced by the new bite on my toe that turned up yesterday!

Why has someone not come right out and said....
my tiny red bumps/red dots  do not look like the photos in the following link.....  ??????

It's incredulous to me how posters make such scandalous and degenerate diseases out of something that a dermatologist can take care of possibly in one visit.

What really bothers me is men and women who are totally oblivious to the gray lumpy and skaggy elbow skin they sport about. [:'(]
Anyone wanna come up with some morbid scandalous and degenerate disease for this??

Folliculitis is VERY common in all forms.  The elbow condition above is folliculitis.  Tiny red dots or bumps
that do not spread and are not herpes (which are never described as tiny red dots or bumps) is probably folliculitis for the mere fact that they usually appear on  body parts that are generally covered by clothing.

Take soap and a good wash cloth or a loofah to those body parts (asses, thighs, legs, shoulders, arms)   and those ugly elbows and do it daily.  Apply lotion that does NOT have petroleum, vaseline or mineral oil (which clogs follicles) and within a short bit of time, those tiny red bumps and dots as well as ugly gray elbows are smooth like baby bottoms.

Oh dear.... mountains out of mole hills.......

HeavansKeeper -> RE: Obnoxious bumps on my butt (3/8/2009 6:31:51 PM)

Are the dots and bumps the colour of bright blood or pink like mosquito bites?

ETA: Do they move (vanish and reappear elsewhere, or perhaps vanish and return to their spot?) BDSM is filled with the sorts of impact that can burst capillaries, causing (usually) small bright red dots. They can be raised or under the skin completely. They vary from bright red to brown-red, to black, should the blood go necrotic. I've seen them as small as a pin prick and as large as a quarter.

So how about it? Do you like a rough flogging every now and then?

lronitulstahp -> RE: Obnoxious bumps on my butt (3/8/2009 6:50:54 PM)

[:'(] Yikes!!!!! Could you give a parental warning or something with those kinds of links....ewwwwww!!!!

littlecubsub -> RE: Obnoxious bumps on my butt (3/8/2009 8:11:34 PM)

I used to live in the tropics and would at times get bumps on my butt too.  Turned out that it was just a condition caused by the humidity and heat.  The doc gave me some cream and it cleared up.  I don't know where you live but you never know see your doc. He will know for sure.

Kitty4Maitre -> RE: Obnoxious bumps on my butt (3/8/2009 9:16:16 PM)

I found a loofah each morning in the shower helped.  But the best thing was always changing into dry clothes immediately after exercising.  Cotton knickers might be helpful too.
