ORIGINAL: PrincessEllie For as long as I can remember, I've had these tiny red bumps on my butt. Sometimes they're not even bumps, just red dots. Does anyone know what these bumps are, or how to get rid of them? (P.S. It's not a STD or AssAcne (Assne?)) Why has someone not come right out and said.... my tiny red bumps/red dots do not look like the photos in the following link..... ?????? http://stockindexonline.com/index.php?q=keyword_search&edtKeyword=herpes%20rash&rdbKeyword=1§ion=keywordsearch It's incredulous to me how posters make such scandalous and degenerate diseases out of something that a dermatologist can take care of possibly in one visit. What really bothers me is men and women who are totally oblivious to the gray lumpy and skaggy elbow skin they sport about. [:'(] Anyone wanna come up with some morbid scandalous and degenerate disease for this?? Folliculitis is VERY common in all forms. The elbow condition above is folliculitis. Tiny red dots or bumps that do not spread and are not herpes (which are never described as tiny red dots or bumps) is probably folliculitis for the mere fact that they usually appear on body parts that are generally covered by clothing. Take soap and a good wash cloth or a loofah to those body parts (asses, thighs, legs, shoulders, arms) and those ugly elbows and do it daily. Apply lotion that does NOT have petroleum, vaseline or mineral oil (which clogs follicles) and within a short bit of time, those tiny red bumps and dots as well as ugly gray elbows are smooth like baby bottoms. Oh dear.... mountains out of mole hills.......
