littlesarbonn -> Where should someone move to take advantage of a decent job market? (2/24/2009 6:51:31 PM)

I'm currently working as a teacher in South Korea, and my job is about to go belly-up because the manager had more hopes than he had resources to make things happen. Which means, I'm going to be stuck in Korea (I'm a US citizen) and have to find a new place to go after that. I'm trying to figure out where is a decent job market to tap into during this recession, even if it's something temporary until I land back on my feet again. I have several MA degrees, so eventually I'll land okay, but at the moment, I need to find something to survive. Where is a good place to make a start without having to wait months and months to find a job? In other words, can't exactly go the government route, because those jobs take months to get (unless someone knows an easier way that I do). And this is probably going to happen very fast as it has been two weeks past payday so far, and none of us have been paid. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. A kink-friendly area would be nice, too, but the priority is survival right now.
