I was having drinks with a couple that I recently met, and the Dom asked me a question "because I had experience" (LOL, I am still some what of a newbie.. they are just newer at this than I am).

The question was "When a Dom is flogging you, tying you, torturing your tits, etc, does he have an erection?"

My first reaction as "Yes, I think so. Alot of the time they have erections."

Then I got to thinking, I am often restrained and blind-folded. How do I know for sure? When a cock is presented to me, it is often at least somewhat hard.. but I really have no idea if he is hard while he is beating me.

Status: offline 		Strange question. Doesn't he know if it gets him hard? Beyond that, sometimes. He isn't always ready for sex during, because he's focusing on other things. But for us at least, it ends with him almost always ready. Less than a handful of times I can remember that it didn't end sexually.

Status: offline 		From my (albeit somewhat limited) experience my observation has been that sometimes they get an erection and sometimes they don't...sometimes they are so focused on what they are doing and expending so much energy that they don't  get an erection.

Men can get erections when they aren't aroused and sometimes don't get them when they are aroused...

Status: offline 		Interesting question.  And varied widely I would say.  My Dom gets and has an erection while I am sustaining torture.  I have known and seen others who have not though, but were still sexually excited.  I think the amount of concentration and the individual themselves make up the answer.

A simple flogging, maybe not.  Some up close knife play or nipple torture, then maybe.   Showing a technique in a club, not so much.  Naked in a hotel room, knowing I'm putting her on her knees after I'm done caning her, then probably.

Status: offline 		Logically, I immagine it is dependant on the scene, the dynamic between the couple at the moment and the health (includine emotional) of the Dominant. Stone the crows this may even be one answer tro the problem which suffers of ED have too.... Status: offline 		My personal experience has been that I do not normally get hard, but that really depends upon the scene. For something such as normal floggings, no- not really. In a scene, I usually don't - too busy focused on what I'm doing to her bits and mostly that doesn't require the distractions of my cock, erect of otherwise.

Status: offline 		For the most part yes but there are a lot of factors involved.  If I have been playing for several hours and its low key then it will come and go but generally if I am taking a crop or a cane to a woman or heavy bondage definatly gets me going. I can actually get so horny that I begin to shake especially if the sub is crying out a lot.

I know that when I am playing I am not thinking about sex..... until I am, then I am usually ready. But I don't think I have an erection when I am playing, with the ammount of moving that I do I would think that I would know.

I can say this much if I am in Public I am POSITIVE that I don't, the little guy often suffers from performance anxiety.

I have no idea if he does or doesn't.  He's never said.  I would suppose that it's not of great importance for him to tell me something like that.

Status: offline 		Mr. Happy has a mind of his own.  If the sub is getting into the scene in a sexual way, then yes, I find that exciting and Mr. Happy usually rises to the challenge.  If she is totally going nuts, then almost certainly something is going to get hard.  With more tame play, it might not happen.  It sort of depends on the overall mood.

yah,, I pretty much figured that the status of the flag was one of the things deliberately kept a mystery from me and other subs by those blindfolds
