I’ve never used the term myself and I can’t tell you what other ‘subs’ mean by it.  Generally, I try not to generalize!

When I hear "I love women" or "I worship women" or "I think women are superior", I suspect it to mean "I love what attractive women can do for my penis" or "I will fawn over ANY woman that walks into the room, not just you".  Perhaps I am too quick to judge, but these opinions were based on experiences with individuals who spouted these phrases at me.  Perhaps I will one day encounter a female supremacist who proves me wrong.  Until then, I am wary.  Hell I don't even really identify as a woman, more as a genderless being inhabiting a female body.  Assuming that none of us really chose the body we're born into, how could one gender or the other be superior ?

Whenever anyone brings up a subject like female supremacy, I notice statements like the above quickly unfurl. It's obvious the idea of sex supremacy polarizes people toward ire and that obligatory cynicism we know so well. That or just dead silence.

Yet for all the "no comments", pot shot quippery and PC me-tooism, many people—males and female alike—list female supremacy as a love, a like or a curiosity in their profiles. Even more curious is this website's choice to list it as an interest without a clear counter selection, outside of "Gor", which is in itself rather controversial in its views and origins, but doesn't seem to get half the Jerry Springer attention female supremacy does on chat boards across the internet.

No, it gets its own forum here, in fact.

Regarding female supremacy (and male supremacy for that matter), there is obviously a lot of interwank material orbiting these concepts, but to say that's all it is tends to be intellectually dishonest and rather dismissive—not to mention intolerant—for a group of people united by a choice of lifestyle that is at odds with "reason" and "common sense" (and even the laws) of common society; a group of people who should probably know better by now, all things considered.

i have an answer swirling around, but dammit i cant pin it down into anything succinct.  but ill have a go anyway.

there are women who hate men - frankly -  im not talking about youre cliched lesbianfeminist types, i mean the sort that consider themselves superior because the men they have met in their lives were all dicks, lead by their dicks and therefore, ultimately flawed, invariably weak and dimensionally challenged.  i used to work as a hostess at a well known hostess club in london (no sex i hasten to add) - i would say that 90% of the women who worked there had issues of superiority over men and enjoyed working in an environment where they could turn that issue into hard cash. 

i wouldnt say that i was one of them, but i had grown tired of men or at least of the men i kept having relationships with.  i had developed zero respect for men generally, they all seemed to me to be horny and weak in the face of a sexually liberated woman.

its all about levels.  here sex predominates largely and where sex is concerned men tend to be lead by their dicks rather more than their heads.   women tend to be opposite and tend to filter through their heads and eventually, if the soil conditions are right, to their slippery hot bits.  in that way, some women consider themselves a little more in charge of themselves.  which apparently equates as superior here.

on other levels men are much better at things than we are.  for instance - fucking - i cannot fuck myself anything like as well as a man can [:)]

You misunderstand. You might say that I'm in such a relationship as well, since my owner/slave relationship works like that.

I have no problem with people who want to be female led, or male led. Whatever floats your boat is fine. 

I do have a problem with people saying that one or another sex is inherently superior: better just for being born that sex, than the other 50% of the population. That is the wanker fantasy.

Well, as you've already seen in this thread, it means something different to just about everyone. To me, what it means is twofold - first, generally speaking, I tend to trust the wisdom, the motivations, and thus the leadership of women more than I do that of men. In general. And second, when I'm in a committed relationship, one of the ways my love for my partner manifests itself is in a need to obey her and follow her leadership in most of my life choices. Thus, she is supreme within that relationship. Not exactly the classically recognized definition of the concept, but, that's the way it works for me.

i would not agree necessarily that this is a submissive male concept. i would estimate that i looked over 15 or so profiles of female "dominants" today, and i know that at least three of them were quite forceful in their exposition of female superiority. Nor do i think that there is a connection between the concept of female supremacy and an idealized image of the female dominant. Each submissive forms their own image of a dominant, and, yes, that may involve physical characteristics, but does not necessarily have to.

dreamerdreaming has always posted consistent with her relationship actually existing in the real world.  I think it's likely she really is the female in a female-led relationship with a male.  By contrast, there is no real-world instantiation of female (or male) superiority as one gender over another.  Something that does not exist in reality is clinically termed a "fantasy."  Whether you wank to that fantasy is your own business.

Conversely, one can (and many emphatically do) believe there is no instantiation for "consensual slavery" either, outside of an excuse for kinky sex and adult role play, and anyone who does believe for one moment there is an actual "owner" and "slave" in the relationship is likewise "not really living in the real world". I've met consensual slaves.  Besides, this has nothing to do with BDSM, not really.  If you've ever met a monk, or a priest, or a ballerina, you personally know someone who has turned his/her life over to a structure and a discipline, and is taking orders and conforming to a goal.  People do that within the context of interpersonal relationships, too.  Instead of serving Buddha or Jesus or art, they serve Master/Mistress X, with the same level of obedience and selflessness you'd expect from a nun.

Reality, not fantasy.  No masturbation needed.  That's just a pleasant bonus.

I've kept consensual slaves, and have been one myself. In every instance, there is a belief system, philosophy, or theory for the mind to conform under. If the belief of female supremacy has nothing to do with BDSM, then perhaps including it in the lifestyle interest list on this site and so many others is an error? How did it ever get there in the first place? The truth is it does have a lot to do with BDSM and D/s for many people, just as male supremacy does—and it's not just for meditating with a designated sock.

Your other points are actually excellent, and lay the groundwork to support the idea we all have personal convictions and beliefs which define our reality and our lives—whether we are Keepers, slaves, Goreans, acolytes of the Goddess, Buddhists, Christians and so on. Heck, I don't buy into any form of religion, but I can't deny these ideas are the backbones of very real lives, and as much of an atheist I may be, I can get over myself and respect the beliefs of others. The world won't end if I accept their faiths and ways of life exist and are beneficial to them.

These threads are always amusing, especially since they always becomes majority women undermining other women's kinks.  

Am wondering why the OP didn't ask those men what they mean when they say they subscribe to fem supremacy...    My thought on the matter, is that even if it is wanking material, it's at least as valid as whatever mindset makes your man want to be with you, and sexually excites him.
This site is about wanker fantasies that become reality...   Otherwise, we'd all be on match dot com.     M
