None of my past partners have kicked the bucket, and that's about all I can humanly say.

It happens, in every walk of life....my first died, many moons ago, and I lived on, and have had a great life.  If I have any emotional scares, they would come from those ex's that are still breathing.

the chances are the same as me finding dozens of slave with the same story. its called bullshit, and people are good at it, especially people in this lifestyle.

i have been looking for another slave for about 5 years now. its been a lot of BS. a lot of game players, a lot of used to be's, even more wanna be's, and then the some day i am gonna be's

Link, you are still under moderation, but I thought of you when this thread first came up.  As you know, we have this in common.  We both know grief.

way back in my subbie days one of my dominants had a submissive pass away from lung cancer.  he often spoke fondly of her, and that was ok, they'd had a long and rewarding documented relationship.  i have seen dominants and in some cases subs use the emotional ploy of a dead partner.  some of them go way overboard with the stories and such.  trust your gut feelings is all i can say.

although my secondary slave passed away within the last year, i do not feel the need to discuss it with a potential slave. do i miss said slave?sure i do, but that is between me and my own head, and has little if any relevance in finding a new sub/slave.

i have had many potential slaves have a similar story that goes on and on. when that happens i usually dismiss this sub, and move on.

my view on it. if the master/dom sub/slave has to carry on and on about previous losses, they are having expectations of the same situation or similar

i am not going to be a replacement master.

could this be a coincidence

There is no way it could be anything else, unless you believe in juju. The question "if some doms are trying to replace a perfect girlfriend" is unanswerable, since you included "some" without quantifying what that means. You'd have to spend a couple of years gathering statistics, and even then the result would be iffy. Possibly, and possibly not. Next question.

I would say it's all BS.  Kalapattar is correct....the statistical probability is astronomical.
