This is my first actual introduction in the forums, though it's not my first post.

I entered the world of domination and submission through a very deep interest in bondage. I've always enjoyed ropework, especially the artistic nature of it. Recently, I've been exploring the incorporating more of the lifestyle into my own lifestyle, and found that it's worked quite well.

If anything, I've found that mine is a very gentle style of domination. Yes, I have more extreme urges at times, but my disposition leads me towards a different path. I enjoy the lifestyle for one simple reason: trust. Those submissive are handing their lives to their dominant for guidance, to be taught. They are trusting the dominant with their well-being in many cases, but above all, trust that the dominant will not overstep his boundaries. For a dominant, it is similar... a submissive will be trusted to learn and follow his orders (within any established limits, but this is where the submissive must put his or her faith in the dominant).
Regardless of my philosophical babble, I think that I'm here to absorb new information and learn how to better myself as a dominant.
