Last night I had my first jello shot, and the last 4 were whiskey, and I spaced it out all through the night, long enough between them that I was no longer tipsy.

Well I woke up with a headache this morning. IT was very mild and asprin took care of it, and I wasn't sick to my tummy or anything else. just the headache.

Probably was then, jello shots are very tiny but they're potent.

Probably. Be very careful with aspirin when you drink, either right before or even too closely after. That is toxicity from hell for your liver.

I feel like I have a hang over. Argh! What's with waking up with a headache anyways! I didn't drink last night. I seem to have them more often these days. Poor me.

Yep, actually that's what a hangover is exactly. Dehydration and lack of carbohydrates and electrolytes in your body. That's what alchohol does to you, thus, causing a hangover. A perfect way to rid yourself of it, is a couple bagels or some rice, and some gatorade or other sports drink. NOT energy drinks though, EVER. That is a bad, and very dangerous combination that could land you in the hospital or possibly, on rare occasion, the morgue.

Also, as alcohol and aspirin both thin the blood significantly, that could end up being a very nasty combination possibly, under the right circumstances. Better safe than sorry on that one I would think. :)

I woke up with heart burn from eating a philly cheese steak imitation sandwhich, before bed, so I just laid in bed moaning like a dying animal.

For breakfast since I was hungry but still sick from the heart burn from my last meal I had a nice gentle yogurt, and now I am more settled and the heart burn is gone I am having a roast beef ham and cheese deli sandwich, and a cob salad from the deli.

A good way to avoid a hangover in the morning...take two asprin and drink a couple glasses of water before you go bed.

Depends entirely on your metabolism, how much you have eaten prior to that, your level of activity, and how used to alcohol your body is. It's hard to say what 'excess' is, when there are people out there who can drink like a fish and literally not be affected by alcohol, and there are people that, one beer and they're laying on the floor.
