Well there was that guy we were all talking about that cut his off in jail at tax payer's expense. Took two attempts to get it right though. I guess we could apply the old saying... if you want something done right... do it yourself.

One of my subs presented me with an oversize elastration device as a gift the first time we met. We negotiated quite a bit about using it, but he'd experimented on himself and knew his tolerances, so I tried it…and found it occasionally useful, because his balls run away and hide when I most want to "abuse" them. Short version? I am now the proud possessor of two castration devices, one of which is the Callicrate (which the literature says may be used on animals up to 3,000 pounds). The smaller bands he can wear for up to 20–25 minutes. With the Callicrate bander, he can only take about 15 minutes. Either way, just like zippers and clamps, the real endorphin rush follows the return of blood to the temporarily constricted area.

Actually, there's no such thing as a long-distance call in the UK any more. Or, rather, they're irrelevant because domestic calls to geographical numbers are charged at the same rate. The whole country's only about the size of Oregon, Wyoming or Michigan so there aren't any really long distances anyway.

And I don't think we've talked about `trunk calls' for a long time, even when they were charged at a higher rate. I'm pretty sure most people were calling them `long-distance calls' in the 1980s, though older people were probably still calling them `trunk calls' and the code system is called STD for `subscriber trunk dialling'.
