A friend is selling a new Tens3000 unit. This was obtained for medical purposes but he doesn't need it. It's unused and in brand new condition. He was going to list on an auction site but I told him I'd check around the community (he isn't in lifestyle, but is cool).

The system includes Stimulator, 9 Lead Wires, 48 Multistick Electrodes, Hard Plastic Carrying Case, 11 9V Batteries. Does not come with instruction booklet. He'd like to sell entire kit for $325. Price negotiable.

Your friend is out of his mind (or he's just trying to rip people off) if he thinks he's going to get that much money for his kit.

- Brand new Tens3000 unit with case and accessories - $37
- 12 pack of 9v batteries - $13.95
- 48 self-stick reusable electrodes- $45

Total - $95.95

I bet I've had to tell 50 or more people that TENS units left over and unused from medical suppliers are as the syaing goes "a dime a dozen". People see the redicolous amounts that insurance companies pay for TENS units and it gives them a false impression of the value of the units. Likewise the ones sold by dungeon equipment companies etc. are nuts. I have 5 or 6 TENS units I lose count and I give them away to anyone worth their salt. I see them all the time in thrift stores and swap meets and garage sales, I never pay more then $25 bucks for NIB ones and less if used.
