This is a story that I wrote... Please let me know what you think....
As she sits alone stairing mindlessly at the TV, her mind drifts. She thinks about her life. About how different it was before he came into it. She used to stay up at night wishing that she could fall asleep. She still does, only now, instead of wishing for someone to fall in love with, she wishes the day would never come that he leaves her. She knows that day will be here before she knows it, and is even near prepared for it. But that's just the way things work. He will leave her one day. She has been trying to accept it. Now she just sits there, watching him sleep, wondering what he's dreaming about. She wonders if he is dreaming of her, or, maybe his father that he is so close with.
Sometimes she wishes none of this would have happened. But no matter how much she complains, he is still the best thing that has ever happened to her. She loves everything about him. She loves those bright blue eyes that go straight though your soul. She loves the smell of his hair, the mole on his forehead, and his cute little butt. She loves his smile, his dimples, his laugh, the way he says her name, and the way he pokes his lip out when he doesn't get his own way. She doesn't know how she would ever live without him like she knows she will have to one day.
She looks up at the clock, and sees how late it has gotten. She decides to turn off the TV and get some rest. She knows that he will want her to be up early. She lays down, and wraps her arms around him. She leans over, and kisses her son, the love of her life before drifting off to sleep, and prays he will stay little so she can hold him like this forever.
