This is going to be embarrassing but how does one know if they are allergic to their latex toys?  Certain parts of the anatomy are fire engine red and feel like they're flaming, and nothing else is wrong.......already checked that out.  And no matter where that toy goes, it burns like hell.

Do you have a problem with gloves at the doctors' or dentists' office?
If you have swelling or itching with those, then quite possibly you have an allergy. If you use latex condoms, do you swell up and itch?

If there is a question of you being allergic to latex, you really might consider getting tested specifically for latex allergy. It makes a huge difference if you ever end up in hospital. There are all sorts of precautions that the hospital needs to take to keep you safe - and just be aware that you can go from redness and burning to full respiratory symptoms in a very short time exposure-wise. So getting tested is a good idea. Look for an allergy doctor to do the test. This is an important issue for you and your health.

ASAP needs to be the operative timeline.

Allergies such as one to latex, can lead to anaphylaxic shock if unwittingly exposed.

Certain parts of the body let's just say are more sensitive than others. I do not show any sings of sensitivity to latex gloves but there are some toys that make me burn and all red down there also. Don't use them, your body is telling you something, try a toy made from something else.

You are most likely allergic to the proteins in latex that can leach out.  Switch to ones made out of silicon or better yet, use the human variety!

Nice.  i like that, "the human variety."  i'm certainly not allergic to those proteins & i do that whenever possible.....the other is just for when Sir's away.  Or when He wants me to.  Brought a smile to my face.

Sounds like an allergy...I have allergies to latex and even some of the newer silicone types...
One reason why I use the glass...it doesn't seem to bother me...though I am okay if I can swap
out and not use the latex toys exculsively...

Try using a non-latex condom over the toy. IE: Trojan supra is a polyurethane material. If you have the same reaction then its not a latex allergy. If you get no reaction then chances are you do have a latex allergy.

I have a latex sensitivity and have found that silicone is really THE way to go.

If you can't afford to replace your latex/rubber toys, consider using non-latex condoms on them to avoid burning.
