I prefer Jameson's Irish Whiskey or Glenfidditch Scotch.  If you want champagne, go to a Frenchman.  If you want to get hammered, talk to those who wear the kilts.

Défoncé au Pastagua. 'Nuff said  .

Kittin, what is this obscure language you keep using? Esperanto?

Ouzo is my drink for a endless drunk and loss of memory and brushes with mr plod
The only thing you should put with a shot of malt whiskey is another shot of the same whiskey.
Rum makes me uninhibited violence wise, nasty stuff.
Malibu makes me hunt down vaccum cleaners to cuddle
Pernod and bitter lemon makes me happy happy happy
However I dont drink anything but wine and or baileys anymore.
ooh and to the OP.
Gordons Gin was created in 1769 by Alexander Gordon and it used to have a pic of the ol man on the front of the bottle with a walking stick and top hat, but they changed the logo some years ago.
also
"Gin and Tonic dates back to the days of the British Empire in India. Quinine was used for medicinal purposes to combat malaria in India (Quinine + sugar + water (Indian Tonic Water)).Gin took away the foul taste of the quinine, and gave birth to one of the most popular drinks ever created."http://www.gordons-gin.co.uk/
