I had 5 pregnancies that lasted beyond the 1st trimester. My boys gave me -horrific- morning sickness for more than half the pregnancy. My girls aggravated my autoimmune failure. My twins (one of each) seemed to counteract each other and theirs was my easiest pregnancy. I also assisted during the pregnancies and births of over 200 babies as a midwife. In general, every single pregnancy is different, but most women experience symptoms in patterns according to the genetic profile of the baby they're carrying, and gender can make a difference, because some of the hormones released in the interaction of the mother's body and the fetus depend on things like fetal gender.
