Does anyone know of good way to travel from Providence to Greeneville TN. Greyhound goes there, but I;'m staring at 22 hours on a bus. Basically I say, "Hi, M'Lady, I gotta go." Ditto Amtrack, although that was Greeneville South Carolina.

Sothwest air is $20 more and the flight is only a few hours. Unfortunately the flight is to Nashville and that is a 5 hour drive. Does anyone know of a puddle jumper airline I can take from Nashville?

I use Orbitz and Expedia to find the best prices, then go to the airline itself to see if they will better the price.

When you talk to humans, they are magnificently helpful and may give you unexpectedly good tips.

Good luck.

Ma'am

P.S. Remember to look at your time when you calculate how much you will save!!

Check out sidestep.com you have to download a little toolbar. No ads with it. No spyware.

It checks all of the sites for the best prices, for you.

It cost Doug and I a little over 240 each for a roundtrip ticket on United from so cal to nebraska.

When his uncles were out a few months ago their cheapest fair was 333. So its worth the download.
Also, say you want to leave from a specific airport if it isn't cheap it will direct you to a closer airport as well as your airport.

Hope that made sense.

iwill,
do you have AAA? They have a travel agency which you could at least call and check prices on flights.
