Hello!

Master is currently undergoing chemotherapy and has some reservations about certain activities while the chemicals are in His system. He asked in the Oncology Dept if there was a danger of me being harmed by His sperm. They could not give Him a straight answer. End result: we don't know, use a condom to be safe.

He is even hesitant about biting me to leave a mark (one of my favorite things *shiver*) because He is worried about the chemicals being in His saliva and the possibility of breaking my skin when He bites.

Does anyone know if these or similar things are things we need to worry about? Any idea how long it will take the chemicals in His system to leave after each treatment or after the treatments are completely over?

For myself, if i can sit at His feet with His hand in my hair, i am content. But He is worried about harming me if He does find the energy to be more actively Masterful than that, so i thought i would find out and perhaps put His mind at ease.

Thanks!

g

Disclaimer: I'm merely a somewhat informed lay person, but since you've already consulted the docs, I'll throw in my reasoning on this . . ..

The quantity of the chemo drugs in his system at any given moment is gonna be pretty small / relatively dilute, so I think the very small amount of his saliva that would be exposed to your relatively small skin breaks from biting would result in a pretty infinitesimal exposure to the chemo drugs . . . . .

Cum typically spends some time in whichever orifice, & the mucosal tissue lining said orifices is much more 'conductive' (in general), so it's probably wise to use condoms until after he's completed chemo . . . . .

Hope this helps . . .

Best,
The Demon, Kia

My Sir is on chemo also - two weeks on,one week off. The way i understand it, depending on the drugs being used, the half life with most chemo drugs is under one day.
The chances are that saliva would be drug-free within two days. Most chemo drugs are excreted by the kidneys, so no waterplay.  And sperm - since it is stored in the body, unless your Sir ejaculates every day, it would be very hard to determine if there is any chemo drugs in his semen. Use a condom.  Or if a bj - have him shoot on your boobs, and wash it off.

Chemo - and cancer - isn't a death sentence to your sex and kink life. It may slow it down a bit, or change how it is expressed, but accommadations can be made.  The thing is, the two of you are talking, and that is the most important thing.   Tell him to bite away!!!

I'm not an oncologist - i am an RN, and do a fair amount of reading/research. Therefore, treat this advice as semi-educated, but fairly good.

Hugs to the two of you.

Depending on the drug used, the time the drug stays in his system and how it's secreted will vary. My advice....go to the nearest bookstore and pick up a copy of a 2009 drug book (they're pricey, $30-40 for the good, concise ones). Look up the specific chemo drugs he's getting (your doc's should be able to give you the names) and those books should give you not only the half life, but also tell you what you need to be cautious of in terms of how the drug is excreted.

In my experience, which granted, hasn't been a lot as I'm an RN on a surgical floor and not an oncology floor (however, I have 3 different friends from nursing school who are oncology nurses), people who are getting the super harsh chemo treatments which are excreted through sweat, saliva, blood, urine, and feces, are generally hospitalized while receiving that treatment because they can't be exposed to people who don't know how to take the proper precautions. My uneducated guess would be to wait a couple of days after the treatments and play only to a level you're both comfortable with, and to take basic precautions such as using condoms (and I would personally avoid swallowing his sperm, unless I read in the drug book that the drug wasn't excreted that way).

PS...I suggest buying the book rather than just getting the names of the meds and looking them up, because those things are dead useful to have around in situations like yours and can answer a LOT of questions you might run up against while going through this. Also, my thoughts and prayers go out to you both!

It's from the UK but I assume they are as interested in Sex as Yanks.

GO HERE

Then...... RESEARCH the more you know the better you will be.

THIS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO RESEARCH.

Talk about things Yes but not to get usable important advice such as what you are asking about.

Thank You all for the advice. Personally, knowing what i do about how things pass through bodily fluids, i was not concerned about the saliva and the condoms made sense to me... However He is very protective and and is showing that with this worry over harming me. i may just have to wait until He feels confident that i it is safe.

peace,

g

Drugs that can be administered to those of reproductive age either have to be tested for side effects or the drug needs to carry a warning that a barrier contraceptive measure must be used.  Find out the name of the drug and read the warnings on the label copy.  Virtually all manufacturers post the full label on-line, and that will show all the precautions and will discuss the pharmokinetics (clearance rates, etc.).  Drugs are almost always metabolized by the kidney or the liver.  The label insert should tell you which.

Hi g,

No need to buy the book there is a product monograph for every drug online, you can get the info you need there and save yourself the money. Just print it out for future use.

Thanks again for the help. i found that the half-life of the main drug they are using is 43 minutes and that 1/4th of it passes through the kidneys in 24 hours. Three days after the last dose, most of it has cleared His system. i did email Him with that info and hopefully that will ease His mind.

Most of the info that the manufactures give is basic advice to not cause a pregnancy which is not relevant here, as Sir made that impossible a few years ago. They do not carry warnings about the toxicity of bodily fluids, probably because they are not required to measure them or the amount present causes no significant threat. (Master is a belt and suspenders kind of person, likes to leave nothing to chance.)

peace

g

I was on chemo everyday for three years. There were no fatalities from my bodily fluids.
Maybe that will re assure him a bit.

So he's able to be in the mood and have sex after chemo? Damn, I think I have a new hero. That's what call a Master Horn Dog. I remember fucking with a 102 temp, bronchitis, and nausua, but that was over 10 years ago when I was 20.

As for your safety, there's little to none on the risk factor. A little extra safety as stated above is never a bad idea. I wish you the best.

So far He has had just one treatment and felt up to a bit of fun a week after. His only reaction so far is to feel tired, no nausea, knock wood. Not sure how He will feel after the second, let alone the third or fourth. It is natural for Him to worry about things like that, being the belt and suspenders type, wanting to be prepared, just in case.

i appreciate the well wishes.

My brother-in-law just went through chemo.  They gave him a book.  Not a booklet, a book on sex during chemo and radiation.

Don't exchange fluids while he is on it.  The chemicals will transfer.  Unknown damage.

Good luck
