ORIGINAL: theRose4U The reality is that people can be rude, this is a gender neutral fact. Expecting them to reply to all email or on your schedule is unrealistic. In a lot of ways it's like fishing you cast and wait. Cast and wait. Having a profile that is honest about what you seek. Writing more than a 1-3 sentence intro if you're interested. Being yourself and honest with what you desire in your search. This is the best advice that I can give. This is the internet. There will always be liars, scam artists, and the dream dominant that turns out to be unemployed & living in a trailer park. Holding firm to what you believe and being true to your desires is the best way to find what you seek. I completely agree there.. I wasnt expecting anyone to reply to my profile, but imagine my surprise when it happened.. Well.. suffice it to say.. said Domina sent me an email with "kneel slave, for this Mistress wants to see more pictures" Although I tottally blew etiquette out of the water on this one.. I simply replied with "how does it feel to want" I myself have been tempted to email someone on here, but, the biggest thing (I.M.O) is to make yourself noteworthy.. think about it Your at the car dealership, looking to invest in a new car.. the first car you walk by, is faded red, bald tires, and...it makes noises when it starts up (sounds like my first car :| ) The next car you come to.. is not faded as bad, the tires are fairly new.. but.. when you start it up.. it purrs.. Which one would you go with? The same thing can and does apply in the lifestyle.. something about you.. ie your personality, HAS to stand out... Someone I used to talk with on a regular basis once told me that "competition" between submissives seeking Dominas/Dominants is VERY tight.. and that for every one Domina/Dominant, there could very well be 20 more submissives/slaves ahead/behind you.. It's up to you to make yourself stand out.. Best wishes *V*
