I have a leather boot lace whip for sale (I make them myself, it has never been used). Handle is 8" long (it is wood), there are 8 tails 18" long. This is a very stingy whip - if you are looking for a thuddy effect, this is NOT it.
The leather boot laces are available in black, brown, or natural (sort of a tan color).
Handle is usually just given 3 coats of polyurethane unless you would like it stained.
