Awwwwwww, although to be totally honest, they will probably kill me, but this forum was in fact Mod XI's idea, I just looked in to see how it was going.  I don't frequent this area in an official capacity.......not my beat.

**whispers, some dont adore me in vid chat, where I do hang, so might not want to ask em.....but thank you, you made my day!!**

That quote always intrigues me. Especially when combined with the the one mentioning exceptions to rules. I can't claim to enjoy the inclusion of "all" or "but"... It seems to mitigate some of its power.

An enjoyable sig btw.

Here's question sure to get the thread going - and it combines politics and religion like no other, providing a myriad of contentious issues fit for active debate (aka mudslinging and flaming);

If religion is the opium of the masses, then is it surely not appropriate that a select few be permitted to regard opium as their religion?

Answers on a postcard please

E

Much prefer a good mass debate myself.

I've never attended mass myself ;)

(hi Bearhoney - nice to see you again !)

And always a pleasure seeing you again MsFlutter.

Neither have I attended mass though considering who I am, methinks that I'd be a total lost cause

If this was the case Lady E, then we'd quickly see the polarizing of the masses and then seeing them splinter off into separate and opposing groups. Like with any body of masses, there would be some sort of organization to the group thus this organization could be deemed as a government. So  like with most, of not all governments, dissension and discord will soon follow.

That's not true.  I went to church once.  No buzz at all, maaaaaaaaaan.
