I'll be Happy when Sierra and Victor get to discover each other a little more and Alpha makes Echo into the student to take down the Dollhouse as it is supposed to happen.

Until then FOX is on my Shit List.

When I watch that show I am constantly wondering what Eliza Dushku's reaction was when she got a lick with a strap from Dallas (spanks hard).  They should work that into an episode

Jacen -> RE: dollhouse dominatrix (6/10/2009 3:01:15 PM)

For some reason, Eliza in that outfit just makes me want to give her a sandwich. Not even an innuendo sandwich, just... a sandwich.

And I like skinny girls to begin with, and shes not even terribly skinny.... so confused... mixed signals abound...

Anyway. I heard somewhere that Whedon had a contract with Fox that he had to provide 5 shows for them (to cancel)

ChasingOblivion -> RE: dollhouse dominatrix (6/11/2009 1:40:55 AM)

I love Dollhouse, love Joss Whedon, and Fox can kiss my ass. They are now, and have always been, the network where good shows go to die.

Producers need to start boycotting Fox.  They are infamous for canceling popular shows with a strong audience base, often for no apparent reason.

Firefly was great.  I can't get into Dollhouse, but that's just personal preference.

Sadly that scene was short-lived. It was a quick shot of her return, you saw nothing of the engagement she was returning from.

The better shot, in my opinion was the engagement that made her a world-class safe cracker. She had to dress in latex, pvc boots, etc because that was the type of person she was imprinted with. She was VERY hot in that outfit.

They explained this one already. It was an unaired episode that was responsible for the strange numbering. They never had plans to air it. The show *is* on the bubble now, but when that story came out, it wasn't. We'll have to wait and see.

strange numbering?

strange numbering?

Yeah. It was in an article I read. This explains it much better than I could:

"On April 9, 2009, actress Felicia Day posted on Twitter that she had received word the 13th episode of the first season of Dollhouse, in which she guest-stars, would not air. Whedon rebutted speculation that Fox was as yet set to cancel the show however, and producer Tim Minear explained that the "missing" 13th episode (which is entitled "Epitaph One") would be on the DVD release of the season. The reason Minear gave for the episode's being dropped from the broadcast run was that the Fox network was counting the original first episode ("Echo"), which went unaired, as part of the original 13-episode order; in contrast, the Fox production company was required by contract to have a minimum of 13 completed episodes for international and DVD releases. [link=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dollhouse_%28TV_series%29#cite_note-The_Live_Feed-32][/link]According to both Minear and Whedon, the producers felt that the original first episode, having been subsequently scrapped entirely and had its footage reused for other episodes throughout the season, should not be counted as a completed episode as part of their own 13-episode orders for international and DVD distribution but rather as a DVD extra, and thus Whedon produced a new 13th episode on a lower budget to fulfill the contractual requirements for the international broadcasts. The episode will be screened at Comic-Con."

EchoMirage -> RE: dollhouse dominatrix (6/19/2009 4:33:14 AM)

i know about the unaired 13th episode.  i thought you mean strange numbering had something to do with the show itself.  either way, i hope it comes back, or at the least scifi should pick it up.
