Strange, I showed up at the park with my protest sign that was identical to the title of this post, but they all got upset... Oh, well, at least the local paper took my picture, and a couple of the local news stations were kind enough to shoot some video of me too... I'm sure my well behaved presence at the rally will cast a good impression of the "movement" on the nightly news.... Just like Fox News and Glen Beck ordered us to!

I did and was told they knew what it meant. They said they thought it was funny as hell. Something about telling the gov to shove all the new taxes where the sun don't shine.

But I can see why the liberals are getting such a chuckle out of it. Kinda like Family Guy when Peter giggles everytime someone says "dick"

Ummmmmm Okay now that I have heard what a few people think Teabagging is I felt the need to Explain.

Teabagging is when you dip your Testicles into someones mouth.

A Greek Teabag is when you do it so the person getting the balls in the mouth ends up with their nose in your Brown Eye.

Apparently some people thought it was something else.

Well in the gay bars in Detroit, it's anal sex. If you play World of Warcraft it's jumping up and down on the body of the guy you just killed. Never heard the testicle in the mouth one before, but I guess it makes sense too. Either wayin this case it's a protest and I think it is funny as hell to watch all the reactions to it.

I'm loving the news coverage of these "grassroots, entirely by the people" events.... I haven't seen so many old white faces together in one place since the RNC... Oh, nooooo, this isn't the least bit racist of a "fake, partisan protest".... noooo... never....

So the nest question will be... how much with the GOP inflate the numbers of people who attended? Will they fudge the numbers as much as they did with the "Million Man March?" Or the anti war protests?

One nice thing about protesting during the Obama administration... at least you don't get shuffled off to some storm fenced enclosure called a "free speech zone" like you would have during the Bush regime.

What... A "Million Bag March"?

Crowd at Boston Tea Party=7,000, equal to 46% of population of Boston Crowd at Boston Teabaggers's Party= 500, equal to 0.08% of population of Boston. BTW, the original Boston Tea Party didn't have free advertising from Fox News.

Actually, the Million Man March numbers were inflated by the liberals...excuse me, progressives.

Why would they shuffle yesterday's protestors off? Unlike many liberal protests, these people actually kept themselves fairly well under control. And do you seriously think that when Obama went in, the police forces across the country suddenly changed tactics? Yeah, that's believable.

No, I'm saying that the GOP automatically pumps numbers up... I'm saying that they LIE in whatever way suits them best. They "rounded down" the numbers on the prewar protests to the invasion of Iraq... when the "Million Mom March" took place, they made it sound like it was the cast of the View was out for a stroll on the plaza... When the Million Man March took place, again, their numbers were carefully rounded down to make sure the news cycle disregaurded the action... when something is of THEIR creation, like the Fox News promoted, "entirely grass roots" teabag parties... then the numbers are rounded up... usually by whatever percentage is needed to make it sound like a huge groundswell of support....

And the news reports today in the dead tree papers seem to bear this out... Already several articles have appeared contesting the offical attendance numbers supplied by the GOP.

The whole fucking thing was a propaganda machine. These folks were duped into thinking they were doing something worthwhile. All it was about was getting the tax cuts for the rich under Bush made permanent. Those folks were fucking themselves in the ass.

There will allways be some stupid fool willing to stand on the sidewalk with a sign for a form of government thats done nothing for working people. 8 years of stagnant wages, job outsourcing, rising cost of living, violations of privacy and personal freedoms wasn't enough?
