Yes, I have a pattern. I actually hit Ask A Mistress first. If there's a place I feel most at 'home' on the boards, it's probably there. I'm familiar with the regulars who frequent and can even reasonably predict who will agree or disagree with Me on certain topics and what have you. That's the only one I read before hitting General Discussion. I happen to like hearing from everybody. Mixed company is a good thing. A distant third, Ask A Master. Mostly because there really isn't as much traffic there and only about half of the topics will interest Me. I will hit the poly board, because I happen to be, but again, not much traffic. I am going into the casual banter area more because CM is obviously going through one of it's lulls again. Quite a few of the regular posters haven't been frequenting the boards as much for their various reasons and there just isn't as many interesting things being discussed as there used to be. I only hit this board if something I notice on the scroll comes up and brings Me in or I have a specific question to ask of submissives. For the most part, I stay out of your playground. It is only on a very rare occasion that I post anything in Gor or the Ask A Switch sections.

I'm pretty random. It depends on the day and if anything in particular catches my eye.

I scan thru most, even the Gorean forum, tho' usually I mostly stick with General, Master, Mistress, & Silliness, as the most relevant (to me) stuff seems to be going on in those . ... . . Outside of Silliness, I mostly only post when I feel like I have something interesting / useful / unique / etc to offer on the topic, tho' occasionally I participate in more broad-based surveys such as this one . . .. .. I do feel a certain territorial thing about marking my territory, coupled to a rebel streak that doesn't like to be constrained to this place or that . .. . .. So I tend to wander about, poking my nose in here & there . . .. . [:D]

As the Collar Turns.... "the scrolling menu" finds me in strange forums I would not enter if I had a choice. Like politics. I did find a forum (a ways back) I didn't know existed. Humor. Well I probably knew it existed as I have been there, but it was off my radar for a long time. Poly and Gor. They are off radar as well unless the turning collar menu brings me there. I do go to Ask a Master and sometimes look through a question, realizing there are no dom/me responding but only the s type. Then I go through other questions (same forum) looking for the same thing...who mostly responds. I do like it when a dom/me that I find "very solid" answers in the Ask a Submissive section. I guess it says/indicates, to me, that responding is not at all beneath a solid dom/me.

I flip through them all and wade in if I've got anything to say and the subject interests me in some way. It doesn't matter to me what the forum title is. Nothing scientific about it at all. agirl

I often think the ask a sub / slave, ask a master / mistress forums aren't needed. Everything could just go under the general bdsm forum. Considering people of all walks respond to all the diff forums whats the point in seperating them. I read in no particular order, depends what i feel like doing at that particular time.

I scroll through and look for posts started by or most recently responded to by certain people. I usually stick to general discussion and submissive/slave but sometimes browse other headings. There are certain topics that I avoid because they are what I call my ‘hot buttons’ and I can’t be objective.

Well, I never feel apologetic for posting anywhere. I look at General, Master, Poly and Sub/Slave frequently. Sometimes I poke my nose into the Polls section, occasionally into the Mistress section (honestly I don't know why I don't go in there more, I just rarely have anything to say). Very rarely I see something that brings me over into the Gorean section and there I will preface my posts by saying I am not and therefore will not be using the Gorean formatting. I just kinda poke around though I'm not around nearly as much as I used to be. [:(]

I generally will run through General BDSM discussion, then stop by here. I rarely visit off topic discussion, though. More time than I am willing to devote, and I'm here for the sex, anyway. :D

I mostly hang out in the casual banter forums, though I do skim the others (obviously as I am responding to this thread). As for responding, I respond when the whim takes me, and I don't really pay any attention to what forum it is in

I usually read General Discussion first- well, because it has a little of everything I look at Ask a submissive/slave next since I am a slave and it's the section that I have the most familiarity with Ask a Master us usually next- I like hearing the view from the other side of the whip I don't read other forums as much, but when I do, I'd probably go to Ask a Mistress- if someone I like to read is posting. For example, I've never met Lady Pact, but I like to read what she writes whether her view matches mine or not, She always supports her ideas with her own experiences, asks thoughtful questions, and has very compelling commentary. but knowing she lives in my neck of the woods probably helped me notice her posts in the first place. I almost never look in the Gorean, or Poly sections, unless again someone I like to read is posting, or one of the scrolls catches my eye. Humor/ off-topic -I hit in spells...some days they are the only things I read, and sometimes I don't read anything there for a week or more, Most other forums are a once in a blue moon thing...especially the ones which don't turn over topics very often.
