Since the person that answered my last bulletin was so helpful i decided to post another...
Ok when i get stressed( or it seems when i get stressed) I get these bump on my skin( anywhere like my neck or my stomach or my arms or my legs) and they stop itching and go away once i shower...
Can anyone think of what this is?

yes, stress can cause hives.  i've seen it during extreme bouts of stress.  don't understand the mechanism behind it, i just consider it a warning to back off and take some time away from whatever the situation is that's causing the stress.

Yep, stress can cause rashes.  I know somebody who got that way around exam time when she was in school, and later in life when her mother would come to visit.  When exams were over or her mother went back home, the rash went away in a few days.

Rashes and full blown allergies can be purely stress induced. It happened to one under my care when school became a very hostile enviornment. He had massive areas of scaley skin all over his body, randomly became allergic to pet dander, dust, and more. He developed asthmatic symptoms and was sick more than he was well from Christmas on. He cleared completely after school ended. He began stressing a few weeks before school started, at which point I pulled him into a more private environment. He has been fine ever since.

I would suggest finding what is triggering your stress and making steps to either minimize or avoid it altogether. Learning relaxation and coping skills would be helpful as well. Until you know what is sending your body into these fits, it will likely continue and even potentially worsen. Don't let it get out of hand.

I would also suggest seeing both an allergist and a dermatologist for consultations. They may be able to pinpoint a more "medical" reason for your condition that should not be overlooked. Often people who already have low level skin conditions or allergies can worsen during periods of stress as well. Be sure to clarify this before writing it all off as just stress induced. Treatment could mean you can lessen or eliminate these flare ups.

Also, do you have any other symptoms like aching muscles or joints, tiredness, mood shifts, etc? These can point to conditions such as Lyme disease, lupus, fibromyalgia, ms, and more. Make sure you are looking at the whole picture.

I am going to second the advice from loving pet and only add that my hives were caused by an over abundance of citric acid in fresh fruits.

Good evening!
A true stress rash is known as lichen planus, I have had it for 13 years and they do not go away. It feels very itchy andnothing helps, then you notice a bump which is shiny and red. It turns purple after a few weeks and scabs over after that. Weeks after THAT, it turns into a faded spot. It does not stop , will break out all over your body-yes even your hands on bottom! and ther eis no known cure so far. The only thing that helps -somtimes but not for me-it cortisone cream.

Sounds like you have hives or are allregic to something, not stress. Good luck.
Love,
Zechriel [:(]

I get hives due to stress and heat. Nothing helps. In the winter for the most part it is much better.
For me they manifest on the top of my hands and arms but I have had them on my belly as well.

I started getting exactly what you’re talking about back in College and they’ve plagued me in stressful times ever since. Let me guess, they mostly occur at night? I think it has something to do with your body detecting that it’s getting close to shutting down time (sleep).

There is no way to rid yourself of them once they start, however caffeine and heat make them worse. Benadryl doesn’t really make them go away but knocks you out so you’ll stop itching.

I’ve found the best thing to tame the itching is pure aloe lotion…It’s good for cooling the skin after floogging too. [;)]
