and does reporting them for harrasment do anything, or just waste your time and the support staffs times?

edited because someone kindly told me it's not mods that deal with this, it's support staff.

Nope, it's not a waste.

I've reported profiles. The way you do it is, go to the profile and below the pic area is a button that says "report profile" ... push that and voila! you have done your part.

*I know people who's profiles were reported and they were ummmm not happy about it.
And that's one of the reasons there are mods.

LOL they just made a new nick name so they can continue to sayI am a fat and I need a fork lift not a 4 runner, and my daddy and I are fug ugly, because I blocked them the first time, I told them have fun making new nick names to skirt being banned, I'll just keep reporting your new incarnations, and maybe eventually you'll be freezed off this site for good. I told them infact why don't you get some balls and post your insults and stuff publically where every one can see them, and not in the "percieved saftey" of email

Some people are born that way.. it's a bit like having a sticky out ear, or a red rose type of nose, some people just don't have intellect or personality and they have to make themselves feel better by putting other people down.

Just got to admit that when God said 'brains' some people thought 'trains' was said and they missed their's.

Totally agree...when i got back from canada after xmas and already before,i had a guy insulting me for
being real with diffrent niknames.after the 1st time he used another name so
I started to check profiles before opening email.that way i found him 2-3 times again trying to insult me,as the wording was so the same in his profiles...not quite intelligent that baby...followed by reporting,blocking and deleting him :o) at the moment he shuts up...he must have been really bored to throw his tantrums at me for being genuinly on my search here *sigh*

I get the idiots too. I had posted a journal about people sending messages with bad spelling and grammer. Got a message from someone that said I needed to lose weight and find some to airbrush my pics. It irks me, but they are the idiots. I report them. Nice new pics hun.

Sorry you're being harassed YHMA. I've been lucky so far here, nothing more than the usual boring mail for me. It sure can't feel very nice getting such rude things sent to you, so I hope that they get bored quickly.

You know we all have people that trip our "nasty" button sometimes. I'll tell you the truth, for awhile there was something about you that tripped my "irritation" button. (I'm NOT the person noted in her post by the way). There were things that you do that I don't like about myself! It really wasn't about YOU, it was about me and having little patience when a mirror was put up in front of my face. Did you know? Could you tell? I hope not. Why? Because I'm a grown up. I take responsibility for my feelings, for my actions, for my insecurities and my inadequacies. (*if I did in fact ever say anything that ever was offensive, I apologize).

Anyway, people who talk about the way someone looks are the most immature type of insulter. Ask anyone who works with children - they will tell you that as people mature, we let go of the obvious.

Nope, I never knew, I annoy a lot of people on here lol, and it's water off my back and some of the people I used to annoy, we've know smoothed it over and we're even kind of friendly.
