Govt. support has always been there. An attempt at complete takeover of corporate  america is new and it started on November 5th. of 2008..

I would rather take them over so we get the benefits of the business and not JUST the risk of making somebody else (management) getting rich...all backed up by our dime anyway.

What is govt. 'support' but govt. backing (credit) or govt. money directly and IS part of the the socialism for the rich of which I remind.

I was thinking maybe I should change banks, but I have an LOC with BOA.
The banks are forced to take toxic assets, the government bails them out and gives them money,
now many of them are too scared to even make loans.
The government taking over the banks at least partially, is not looking that bad Mr.Rodgers.

Believe me I can tell you tons of Canadian/English health care horror stories. Besides the English are still upset that a bunch of farmers bested one of the greatest empires on the face of the earth. The good news though about gov't health care is that you may move up to the head of the line when the people in front of you die while they are waiting. Personally, I don't know why we would try to emulate 2nd rate powers in the first place--didn't everyone come from those countries to begin anew? Why else would Canadians and illegal Mexicans come into the country, if our health care sucks?. People just don't want to pay for it. So, you want your problems to become my problems, but here's the problem, it's not my problem. I have plenty of my own problems to deal with. You have a problem with that?

And those horror stories provide just the elixer to get you to think the way you do. THEY Canadians and Europeans are living LONGER and for cheaper...how's that for a horrow story.

Whether or not you think a country a second rate power, for about 150 MILLION people in America...we have no healthcare POWER so they just die younger.

The REAL reason for people coming here is either poverty and they can't afford to live let alone any 'healthcare' while the others HAVE the MONEY to pay the BIG profits (first requirement) for our medical care.

gman, are you the one who decided that we should have a SINGLE PAYER, GOVT. RUN 'healthcare' insurance for BANKS ? How about medicare for EVERBODY ?
