mystsshykitty -> Dumb question (4/24/2009 3:01:37 PM)

My Mistress has expressed and interest in whips lately and i want to surprise her with one. But in lookin online for one i cant decide (mainly for my ignorance)

What is the difference in a single tail and a signal whip?    is one shorter than the other, is the fall and popper different?  i just don't know..

thanks..

There is no difference that I am aware of. I might be wrong, but in my experience the two are synonymous.

I ask only to make sure you are aware......

Is your Mistress experienced in Whips.

Whips can cause serious damage and so before she goes about whipping you she might want to know what they can do.

Good way to learn is to take a paper plate and hang it from a tree and start whipping it. As you will see they can do some damage.

I didn't think there was a difference   Thank you Joseff.

lol  Shes got to learn sometime...  No shes not experianced,, but she wants one none the less.  and she wont use it on me until shes ready... like everthing else,  we'll learn it together.

The longer signal whips and shorter bull whips are usually easier for people to learn with.

(Signal whips have the cracker braided into the thong. Bull whips have a fall (solid length of leather) between the thong and the cracker. There's a type of bull whip called a snake whip, and a thin variant called a pocket snake. The latter especially can be mistaken for a signal whip.)
