ropesubby, you hit on something.
Most of us think we're something akin to possessed when we discover ourselves at such an early age. Then after how many years? decades? we get comfortable and THEN we encounter somebody we care for who takes us back to the dark ages with zero understanding of what we find erotic and zero desire to try to understand.
Recently i was speaking with a sex therapist and i equated being in the bdsm "way" to being gay. The therapist said that it's actually a lot easier being gay. Maybe not in the "coming out", but in finding like minded individuals it's a lot easier. He's right.

I stayed away from this topic until now, because for me, it's hard to answer. I was with my husband before I even realized there was a word for all those wonderful urges and feelings. No, I did not understand them, and I fought those feelings for a long time. I spent alot of years learning to accpt myself for who and what I was. Alot of time soul searching, alot of tears, alot of rebelling. Even to this day I still struggle with it to some degree, mainly in trying to understand and accept that there is nothing wrong with me or how I feel.

I can say with absolute certainty though that yes, once I accept myself, it is very satisfying and rewarding.

I've pretty much always been a people pleaser, ever since I can remember. I first found out about submission through a chat room and I've realised that I am a sub myself.

i also discovered it quite young, but it arose from the conduct of others "taking advantage" of me. Those early events have been the source of a life of imagining and hoping.

Ok, I give! I was pretty young too but "forgot" all about it till last year. lol....The older neighbor girl and I played "slavegirl" together...I was 10 and she was 13. I had all kinds of captive/kidnapped by pirates/carried away fantasies from age 8 on. Big crush on Yul Brynner in The King and I. lmao! And I provoked all manner of boyfriends and lovers into spanking me, holding me down, getting ruff, etc.
It was difficult to finally admit it, but actually a welcome relief---a lot of things made sense.

this slave realised for a long time that he had submissive feelings, but didnt know how to deal with them, untill recently. has never liked taking charge of situations, allways prefering to follow, & he cannot domminate to save his life, though recently he has realised he has feelings that he wishes to be owned by Others, only then can he feel free
