Freedom of Speech has been under attack from both sides for a while.  Freedom of Speech doesn't guarantee you "Required Audience" for your speech.  Heck, you can even yell fire in a crowded theater.

Of course, there are consequences to saying what you say.  Slander/libel prosecution..a civil matter, not criminal.   And even criminal, in certain cases.  Think "hate crimes" and "Political Correctness."

First Amendment was first for a reason.
POLITICAL SPEECH, obviously, was what the founders had in mind. I can understand people getting upset with someone's political views etc but the 1st amendment protects it, that doesn't mean the government can't destroy the 1st just stack the Supreme Court and they can make it go away. Think STALIN.

But the people who tear apart the Constitution better hope they NEVER, EVER lose power.
