I wonder about bacterias you get, when you have sex shifting from vaginal to mouth, from there to anal and back to mouth on and on.. can it be safe when thinking of bacterias? If you are required to keep all scat in your anal clean with enigma bulbs.. in my ears it sounds like bacterias some way. How safe is this on an ongoing basis? regularly?

Indeed and at clubs and such. I am working in a GUM clinic and even I have to gasp when I see and hear the results and the excuses brought in.

Coliform bacteria (the little buggers found in fecal matter) can cause gastroenteritis, bacterial infections of the vagina, etc.  Scary strains of e. coli, like 0157:H7 can cause serious illness, renal failure, and even death.
Other strians of bacteria or virus can cause horrors like cholera, typhus, shigellosis, and salmonellosis, and even hepatitis (a viral disease).
Hand washing is the single best habit to get in to keep from transmitting these basteria to places they shouldn't be.
Fastidious care in washing of genitals, etc during or after sexual intercourse, as appropriate, is also vital to maintaining a world where the bacteria common to certain parts of your body remain, well, in those areas only.

edited to add cholera and typhus.

Many people are quite ignorant about such matters.

I would hope that most women who get a raging infection learn about why e-coli and vaginas don't mix.
Same with women who get UTIs and kidney infections.

But aren't bacterias good to improve the strength of the immune system?

There are some places where some types of bacteria just don't belong.

Not really...maybe sort of... Exposure to a certain bacteria species will stimulate your immune system to make antibodies to that particular species of bacteria.  But, it takes at least a few days for the immune response to kick in and start manufacturing the antibodies, and, if the bacteria multiply at a quicker and more numerous rate than your body can make the antibodies, then the bacteria win...either temporarily, until antibiotics knock it out artificially, or your immune system can finally catch up, or permanently, where you die.  If you live, though, you'll have antibodies to fight that particular species of bacteria again.

But, your immune system itself isn't any stronger, per se, where it's better at making antibodies.  You just have antibodies to one more species of bacteria.

You do have a point, though, because the immune system can have a "use it or lose it" way of functioning, so some bacteria exposure can be beneficial in that respect.   It's been my experience that the people who sanitize their worlds all the time seem to be the sickest.

I wonder if they get workmans comp for the infection?

I know they use an enima before something like that, hopefully they also wash out the vagina pretty thouroughly afterwards, but it still isn't the safest of sex practices. Since your not trying to create a cinamatic masterpiece just take the two seconds to switch condoms. Anal to mouth.....I've never understood how it's ok, E. coli has killed people: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_in_the_Box#Food_safety

I know this isn't exactly on topic...but....I have to say it...it's sort of like nails on the chalkboard to me. ;)

bacterium = single bacterial cell
bacteria = more than one bacterial cell (in other words, bacteria is the plural form, not bacterias)

Slightly off topic (sort of) i have a UTI at the moment :-( damn painful things they are. My Sir works away, so when he is home it can be fairly full on. I'm not sure if i get them from the extra activity, but i really do think i've nailed the reason i get them.

Sir likes to use condoms over the toys (even though i am the only one they are used on),  I do believe it is the lubricant on the condom that is the cause of the UTI. I am going to experiment and source some without a lubricant. I could be wrong of course, but i do know it is not from going from anal to vagina, as he changes the condoms :-) to avoid the nasty exchanges between the two.

Some lubed condoms contain nonoxynol-9 and many people are sensitive.

Peeing right after sexual activity is a good preventative measure.

I also think cross contamination is possible going from anal to vaginal if you are simply switching condoms.
If you use a lot of lube, it would be possible for  it (and the bacteria from your anus) to travel along his pubic hair etc.

Thank you for the advice angelikaJ :-) love how people here know stuff :-). Will make a point of going to the loo afterwards, probably not traveling along his pubic hair (um, he has......very little) :-) I wax, he shaves :-)

I will be on the hunt for some unlubed ones. Did ask the guy at the chemist today, but he said he doesn't think anyone makes them, so of course i came home and googled it (google is my friend), and indeed there is a big company that makes them, i was sure i had seen them at one time or another. Eliminate things one by one :-) thankfully i don't get UTI's that often, but even one is too many.  I'm pretty quick to treat them, that feeling of "i need to pee"and then it's just a dribble, is awful :-( and that burning......ouch.

I was talking to a Master that wanted me to accept him first fucking me vaginal directly to my mouth, then directly to anal and directly to my mouth again. When I protested about bacterias, he told me about his enema bulbs and how it by the way was my duty,to keep my anal clean!  (with it) because one of my limits is scat, and also told him that was too close.  and he did mean without condoms. But I have never played that way.

Might be the spermicide lube they use on the condoms or you could be allergic to the latex.... Condoms without latex are dreadfully expensive, but you could experiment with water based lubes first, if it doesn't get better and latex free condoms are a financial issue, it might make more sense and be cheaper to have to sets of toys (one set for each entrance) and you clean them thoroughly and even keep them in separate boxes. A lot of people are allergic to the spermicide lube or the latex and UTIs... If you have an UTI, I would recommend green oat tea, makes you pee like a race horse but it does wash the bacteria out and is a natural antibacterial source that works especially well on the urinary tract, 100% natural and no side effects.

I've had problems with various lube types as well as the spermicide on condoms.  I had one idiot use lipbalm as lube one time (at the time, I didn't realize what he was using) and I ended up with a major uti.  Also, if I should happen to allow someone to go anally, thats the last place it goes until it's been scubbed down bigtime.  I may be a masochist, but geez, even I have to put possible infection as a hard limit.

Thank you LadyConstanze,
I guess another option would be to see if my Sir would consider not using them at all on the toys, being as they are only used on me, but having two sets with their own box is an excellent idea :-) wonderful suggestion. I shall also look for the green oat tea, as the stuff i got from the chemist is making me feel blah.
