The story of Gilgamesh is required reading in many schools.  What is the name of the "Wild Man" who became Gilgamesh's friend after being  "tamed" by several consecutive nights with a temple prostitute?  And who's death later sent Gilgamesh on a quest to understand life and death?

Current Question
During Three Kingdoms Era of China, the mighty warrior Lu Bu was executed by stangulation on the order of Warlord Tsao-Tsao after the former begged for his life, why did he choose to have Lu Bu Strangled?

Expires: 12:30AM EST

BKSir -> RE: Trivia, D vs. s Game-VII (5/9/2009 9:04:24 PM)

Because it was a "womens" death penalty, Lu Bu was a coward and begging for his life.

MasterG2kTR -> RE: Trivia, D vs. s Game-VII (5/9/2009 9:04:28 PM)

wild guess

to let him cross over into the next life whole (in one piece)

Vaughner -> RE: Trivia, D vs. s Game-VII (5/9/2009 9:06:10 PM)

BK got it right.  Strangulation was the method by which women were executed, thus it was given to Lu Bu to humiliate him.
