Many of us here, I know, are far from the ones we love, more often than we wish to be (which usually means, at all). A friend of mine showed this to me tonight, and it made me very much miss my pet. Even more than I already did... Yes, I chewed my friend out for this. It's a little something pertaining to long distance relationships. Watch it all the way through though. There is a break in it that one would think is the end, but it's not... >.> I made crys...

I can't get the link to open with Opera, but yeah- distance sucks. Kills you inside. I hope yours turns out better than mine, and that you may be together much longer after being reunited.

Hmm, that's really odd, I wish I could help, but I don't know much about opera. I wonder if you just may not have the right swf/flash player plugins installed. All I can think of. And yes, they really are difficult. I thought it was hard before moving the pet in, but had no idea it would be so taxing and, at times, painful when he left for a while. I tried to think of it as just a vacation, I still am, but it's so hard, hearing how he's doing, hearing he's having a bad day, and not being able to hold him or help... Knowing we'd both rather be together, but because of stupid laws and circumstances, not being able to.

I know that feeling. Ours is in another state also. It is very hard hearing that she is having a hard time dealing with things, knowing that we cant just fly there and help her. But... she will be here in August... We are just dealing with it one day at a time. Phe

BKSir, I think the point your friend was trying to make, by sending you this was that at least you do have someone. And that person is together with you, emotionally. Your hearts are very closely aligned. A lot of people have no one on this side or on the other side of the glass with them. They are alone. You are not. You have your beloved, and he has you. "Although you are far apart, there need not be any distance at all between your hearts." Draw each other near, emotionally. You are together.

Very true, too often do we take the connections we do have together for granted, wish for more and firebomb what we do have. Difficult? Yes. Painful? Yes. Worth it? Always.
