Mine are pretty close to each other on this shorter version of the tests -- note you have to pay for more detailed test and results.

Assertiveness test = 78
Social skill test = 75

Where I have less skills or assertiveness are pretty much the areas I know about based on the questions.

My slave took these too; here are his scores:

Assertiveness test = 65
Social skill test = 75

We have matching social skills.

This is an even more interesting test:

I consider social skills to be one of the most important factors in developing chemistry. Are kinky people more/less socially skilled than the mainstream?

Akasha

80 on the social skills test.....so I'm assertive and social....does that mean I'm a good or bad submissive? LOL

brightspot -> RE: Can submissives be assertive? (2/8/2006 11:34:27 PM)

So Aakasha you have some results.
I would like to ask why were you curious about them and what do you make of the results?
Don't be shy!

ayasha -> RE: Can submissives be assertive? (2/9/2006 1:13:48 AM)

lol, goes to show you, some people just test well

daddysliloneds -> RE: Can submissives be assertive? (5/27/2008 10:27:41 PM)

old thread; great test...

i'm an 86% assertive submissive; but i knew that already!

Dilseachd -> RE: Can submissives be assertive? (5/27/2008 10:39:23 PM)

94 on the assertive test...but nobody has ever accused me of being a doormat.  As my last Mistress used to say "its better to have a tiger on a leash than a tabby cat". :)

kokonut -> RE: Can submissives be assertive? (5/27/2008 10:58:36 PM)

32 on the assertiveness test, 84 on social competence

Zarine -> RE: Can submissives be assertive? (5/27/2008 11:19:49 PM)

Although I am a sub, in the outside world I am pretty assertive.  I've had to be because I hang out with gamers, and they are notoriously bad about making decisions.  I've learned to step up and take charge because no one else wants to.

Tannie -> RE: Can submissives be assertive? (5/28/2008 3:45:47 AM)

80 on the assertiveness test, 96 on social skills.  Go me!

camille65 -> RE: Can submissives be assertive? (5/28/2008 4:04:07 AM)

43 on the assertiveness test and I couldn't find the other one. It's really early here.

SeeksOnlyOne -> RE: Can submissives be assertive? (5/28/2008 4:39:52 AM)

97......You rarely hesitate to address the issues that concern you the most. Whether it’s noisy neighbors or a raise you feel you deserve, you’ll immediately bring it to attention. You express yourself freely, asserting your personal rights with the confidence that your request is reasonable. As a self-assured individual, you are comfortable with letting others know you disagree with them, especially when you feel you’re being treated poorly. This approach shows that you feel you deserve respect and expect others to treat you this way.

pretty accurate......i dont argue for the sake or argument, but i will argue if i need to......just ask my boss-lolol

86 on social skills.....You show a high level of social competence. Individuals in this range are typically able recognize the emotions of others and understand the underlying motivations behind their actions. They are also able to put themselves in other people's shoes and empathize, which is obviously an important skill for having satisfying and meaningful human interaction. Their good understanding of others helps them understand how best to approach, interact with, and help people in a variety of situations.

those management skills classes seem to be paying off-i bet 5 years ago ida flunked that one big time

Sandyshores29718 -> RE: Can submissives be assertive? (5/28/2008 5:22:48 AM)

For the assertiveness test i scored 59-There are times when you’ll hesitate to address the issues that concern you the most. Whether it’s noisy neighbors or a raise you feel you deserve, you’ll be reluctant to bring it to attention. Those times when you are feeling self-assured, you are somewhat comfortable letting others know you disagree with them, especially when you feel you’re being treated poorly. Keep in mind however, that if you act like you deserve respect, others will treat you accordingly.

On the social skills test i scored 77-Your score on the Social Competence Test was slightly above average. Individuals in this range are typically able recognize the emotions of others and understand the underlying motivations behind their actions. They are also able to put themselves in other people's shoes and empathize, which is obviously an important skill for having satisfying and meaningful human interaction. Their understanding of others helps them understand how best to approach, interact with, and help people in a variety of situations.

petdave -> RE: Can submissives be assertive? (5/28/2008 5:47:48 AM)

33 on assertiveness (with a 67 on the subservience subscore), 39 on social competence... Small wonder i want to be a housebound concubine when i grow up [&:]

DominantJenny -> RE: Can submissives be assertive? (5/28/2008 6:07:35 AM)

FR

I think the scoring has changed a bit...I got a 68, with this description: You rarely hesitate to address the issues that concern you the most.
The older tests had a less assertive description with higher scores, I noticed.

Didn't take the social skills one...I'm sleepy this morning.

CarrieO -> RE: Can submissives be assertive? (5/28/2008 6:22:15 AM)

73 on the assertive test and didn't take the second because I need to get to work.
Oh....this is a great question and, answering as a submissive, I feel that yes a sub can be assertive. Big difference between assertive and aggressive.

tinkerbelle3 -> RE: Can submissives be assertive? (5/28/2008 1:57:34 PM)

Sensation-seeking
65

According to your results, you are a sensation seeker. Sensation-seeking can take the form of searching out harmless yet invigorating stimuli such as art or music, or traveling to an exotic locale. It can also refer to more dangerous risks, intended to achieve an adrenaline rush. You seek out new experiences, and may become bored by repetitive, routine tasks. While you enjoy the thrill of risk-taking, your behavior is rarely extreme or reckless.

Pretty good! - tinkerbelle

atursvcMaam -> RE: Can submissives be assertive? (5/28/2008 2:46:26 PM)

74 on the assertiveness  test, i was very happy to see that i was scientifically validated until i figured out that was the claim for the test results.
could not find the social skills test i think that is kind of the story of my life.

stella41b -> RE: Can submissives be assertive? (5/30/2008 3:30:36 AM)

On the assertiveness - 92

Social skills - 89

petpete -> RE: Can submissives be assertive? (5/30/2008 3:41:09 AM)
