i was just thinking he should become a dominant, find a submissive with long hair, forbid her to cut it for anything more than maintenance issues and he could play with her hair to his heart's content.  imagine he'd have a fairly easy time getting himself a spoiled little hair princess, someone at his beck and call to indulge his hair fetish, all he'd have to do is totally support her and make sure she did everything to keep her hair healthy. 

when i first read this thread i was thinking of that dr seuss book, the one with the pet for girls that grows long hair?  something about "all girls who love to brush and comb should have a pet like this at home".  that's the only line i remember and i can't remember which book it was.  my offspring are long past dr seuss books.

My hair is an inch above any seat I sit on when it is let down.

I have a minimally-stressing hair care regimen for it, and while I would definitely have any sub I owned brush it out and assist me with the more complicated braided and pinned updos for formal occasions, most of the time it's very simply ten minutes a day of thinking about it, and ignoring it the rest of the time because I have a life outside my hair.

I would be happy that my sub enjoyed my hair too, but what he's going to do for the other seventeen hours and fifty minutes that he's on call if the hair's his only thing? I have laundry and dishes, other parts of my body I'd like attention to, and I'm also fond of conversation and wordplay.

If he can't work that fetish into a general desire to serve, he's going to have problems finding a lifestyle domme.

I don't think that would help the OP much.  He might <gasp> have to handle short hair in the course of his duties.  We wouldn't want him throwing himself off of the nearest bridge, now, would we?

My hair is a couple inches from my hips... if I promise to let it grow to my feet... you must promise to do everything for me... because I am very likely to trip on the hair... or get caught in things.  So while I sit with my pretty hair all around me, you will do all things and pay for all things you cannot do, including the slave I need while you work to pay for everything.

No, seriously, the idea might fly.  The OP could set up as a hairdresser, advertise his services to very long haired women across the country.  If they're dominant, he could 'come to some arrangement' with them . . . the OP's happy, they're happy, everybody's happy.
