DragonNphoenix -> RE: evolving from D/s to M/s? (2/7/2006 10:53:55 PM)
My Dragon and I went from a causal relationship to a D/s relationship to a M/s relationship. Each time our relationship changed it grew by leaps and bounds. BUT!!! I encourage the process to be slow. That is how it was with us. I think that if it had been rushed that I would most likely have freaked. When we first entered into a D/s relationship I was totally against the label of slave. But now... over a year later... I own my title of slave.. with pride. The act of submission, while being a gift was not complete until I became his slave. Heart, body, mind and soul.

I'm a great believer in "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". It sounds like what you have is developing in it's own way quite nicely, and I don;t think either of you need to redefine it nameswise, because as the relationship deepens you'll find different and deeper ways of expressing it a little at a time, if M/s is where you are naturally heading, then it's where you'll end up. :)

littleone, if it is working for you, don't get tripped up on the wording of it. Could you describe chocolate to someone who never tasted it? So well that they would recognize it only by your description ? Words just fail sometimes to do the job. Enjoy the journey!
