Hello nicola1tg, Logistically, it wouldn't seem like this would be a problem. I've never seen one made that folds like that, but I have seen crosses that break-down fairly easy in a few minutes. The hardest parts would be how the system would lock into place and be sturdy enough when put to it's primary function, and how the device would be placed for functionality. Plenty of hinges would do the trick as far as flexibility, and dual-purpose "arms" that could lock in two positions. It would be nice if you could upload your pictures/drawings to take a look at, and get a better feel for what you have in mind. Are you thinking wood, metal, or a combination of the two?
