First... I think I'm gonna open me up a training camp... possibly in Ghana... with only the highest of standards of course....

Status: offline 		What I suppose I didn't make quite clear is that your "slave" is a man you have been mailing/chatting and discussing your sexual desires with. Most likely Nigerian, operating out of Amsterdam, London, or Nigeria, from an internet cafe. They use Yahoo only (many internet cafes no longer allow chat software, and Yahoo can chat out of a browser, it also passes on your IP address when you send a picture or file), which you can test by suggesting a different chat engine, and as you have found out, they are really really good at this, not surprising, since this is what they do for a living, 7 days a week.

Sorry, Harddaddy. There are a handful of "experts" here that will post anything. I sometimes think that they have Masters or Mistresses that order them to study the discussion boards because it gets them out of their hair for awhile. Either that, or they have way too much free time on their hands.
It's the same as on the other side, you have to sort through an awful lot of BS to get to the real.

Most of what you said is right on, Antipode, but this is slightly incorrect. For mail, they use yahoo, hotmail, and many others, including gmail. For chat, YIM is the most popular, but some will use gmail chat or skype, esp if they are successful enough to have their own computer and net access (or work for someone who has such a setup). It's not as common, but it does happen. What surprises me is that most of the scammers here seem to be of the West African variety, when some of the other scammer hot spots (Eastern Europe and the Phillipines leap to mind) tend to specialize in love scams.

As the OP has indicated that he wishes this thread to be a general warning thread about scammers, I will make a couple of further points. 1. Not ALL scammers show the very obvious signs that most people pick up on right away. Some are university educated and write/ speak English very well, choose realistic photos instead of glamour shots, and basically act like genuine people looking for a relationship. 2. Love scammers are very patient, and will sometimes wait for months before hitting their victims up for money or asking them for a "favor" (see below). They will happily make phone calls- using throw away cell phones and "follow me" phone numbers, and some will even send flowers and gifts- paid for with stolen credit card information, to make themselves appear genuine. While not as common as the typical scammers most of us have run into, the scammers who really know their stuff are harder to spot and far more dangerous, often involving their victims in cheque kiting, money laundering, and receiving stolen goods.

Status: offline 		Of course this is a scam. Do you think you can buy a human being, a woman of the most desirable age and looks, for just eight hundred dollars plus STD tests? I suspect this is targeted at men who watch the "Story Of O" channel, or similar porn about slavery. They got your address off a porn site in all probability. Where you're really getting into trouble is that call it camp or whatever- you'd rather commit the crime of human trafficking/ white slavery than go out and date and find a relationship that will last.

Master/Mistress and slave is a model of relationship that works for some of us. But you're taking it way too seriously if you're willing to give strangers money to supply a girl. "Trained girl". This is the road to Federal Prison, as well as a real impediment to meeting and dating submissive women looking for a lifelong bond. Or at least long term. Eight hundred dollars of high end restraints and collar and toys for a girl you've put effort into meeting, dating, teaching yourself is well spent money for some one special. Eight hundred dollars to try to buy a human being is a guy I'd never go anywhere near.

You need to think about that. Good slaves come free to good Masters. But you need to make the effort to date, and to be worthy of being Master.
