Well don't forget that when CA had an agreement from the parties involved re: pay cuts etc. They were told by the Feds that they could not cut the wages of the union employees, else lose Fed $.

You mean the union employees who get paid by the state to take care of their own "sick" or "disabled" relatives? What thousands of generations of our species have done without needing a gov't check to persuade them to do it? Fuck cutting their hourly rate, cancel that whole thing. It's a cancer.
