Hummm very interesting.  After I married my ex husband, I became very ill within weeks of our marriage and his touching me.  He worked with some government stuff I won't get into right now... but I was really ill because of it.  When we tried to find out what was happening and why, odd things happened to evidence and such.  But I noticed within the year that my finger prints were smoothing out.  I mentioned it to doctors and others and they all thought I was crazy.  But I know my fingers and my prints have diminished considerably.

Damn... more research! lol

Thank you MsFlutter!

I know that prolonged exposure to even mild acide can remove fingerprints. Migrant pinapple pickers who turn criminal are very hard to catch for this reason.

Using bleach or bleach water a lot will take off your fingerprint as well.

So are people that make gallons of applesauce, and berry preserves, every year!

FR:

I saw the article a few days ago. It surprised me. I knew you could remove fingerprints, but I thought it was only temporary. I had to give the government mine a few years ago when I worked for a subcontracter with the State Dept. So they have mine. It really doesn't matter much if criminals try this now; they take DNA from convicted felons almost everywhere in the U.S. now.
