1. Burn, glue or whip-tie the ends to prevent fraying.
2. Coil
3. Toss in washing machine with some bleach on 'hot'
4. Let air-dry

What he said, but put it inside a pillow case first, unless you feel like untying it from the agitator at the end of each spin cycle.

I just use a front loader and avoid the tangle problem to begin with.

I like a lingerie bag, or a mesh bag I think started life at a sporting goods store for sweaty clothese post sports practice. It's bigger and the water and soap can still pass through it. It has a draw string; pull the loops of the bunny ear knot all the way through and retie. Again- who wants to unwind anything from the agitator in the washing machine?

We use a bucket full of hot water and pour 2 spoon Radiant washing powder, and soak the nylon rop for 2 hours. And then pull of the rope, use a cotton cloth dipped in a softner and wipe off and air dry the same in the room. That gives me better result. I never exposed it to sunlight. Hope this helps.

Luv,

Sugu
