RACK gives less room for third party interpretations of safety and sanity.

i think whether playing with SSC or RACK as the guideline really depends on how well you know the person you're playing with...while getting to know and trust a person, SSC is really the only sensible way to go...once the relationship has been developed to some degree, and you know the Domme's level of play, and feel you can trust Her...that's when RACK is the way to go...and truly...when in RACK, that's where one can really explore themself and their partner.

In the past I played with Him... starting slowing, Him getting to know me and my limits... In time we pressed, moving forward... some would say beyond SSC to RACK... We had safe words we could use if we needed them... It worked for us...

Today, starting over, I would hope that I could meet someone that I can grow with... Move in the same direction with... but if I never take those kinds of risks again... it will okay...

I don't know that I can ever trust that much again.

Hello,

When in doubt, consult Douglas Adams and all shall make perfect sense once more.

Or one's head will be smashed in by a gold brick around which a lemon peel has been
wrapped.

SSC and RACK are two constructs by which items can be framed and made coherent to tan individual, similar to Scientology and Astrology.

One uses these as tools to achieve an end goal, in my opinion, but there often comes a time when the tool becomes a hinderance rather than a help, and must be discarded.

Just me, could be wrong, but there ya go.

I tend to agree... I use what I need... and leave the rest...
