Does anyone in here want our govt in the car business? Since when doesn't the market determine what type of cars we buy and hand that "responsbility" over to ,..."the govt?" If I want to go to a Ford or General Motors Dealer 5 years from now and buy an Expedition or Escalade why shouldn't I be able to? Or to a Dodge Dealer and buy a pick-up truck; "Yeah, it's a Hemi!" Does ANYONE in here want (((their government))) having any say in what they can or can't drive? "Oh, you can't have a pick-up truck, only a "tuna fish can" that gets 50 MPG." ("Government Regulations") *************************************************************************************************** Also, with our TAXDOLLARS (for a bailout) General Motors wants to increase thei foreign manufacturing from 15% up to 23%. Correctt me if I'm wrong but I thought this was all about saving jobs? WHOSE JOBS??? ****************************************************************************************************** President Obama has obviously (like Clinton) fallen into the Lobbyists trap* ("Keep wealthy people,...wealtty; AT ANY COST!!!) ("TO THE MANOR BORN!!!") ************************************************************************************************************ President Obama has't "CHANGED"any ofthese losey trade deals we're in yet! ("We need to "re-visit" NAFTA") *WHEN?* ************************************************************************************** Certainly theres a place for"government" in our lives but do you want "government making decisions "for" you? Wht you can buy, what you can say? ************************************************************************************************************************ "Green" jobs are nice but, if they can only be supported by TAXDOLLARS something's wrong there! *************************************************************************************************************************** What do you think when thePresident of our country "BOWS" to DESPOT Arab leaders? And calls himself, "A Muslim-American"; funny,... he didn't say that during the elections. ********************************************************************************************************************* I had a lot of hope for this prick, I think I'm going to be dissapointed. ************************************************************************************************************************* I think that President Obama is.........like they said about the Clinton Administration, "The Johnson Administration",........"The Carter Administration." "Buyer's remorse" is beginning to set in. What's next, an "Amnesty" for Illegal Aliens???" ****************************************************************************************************************** Why do we elect people like we were still in high school upon, "popularity?" On the radio today it said that one woman ,..."swooned"... when she saw Obama in person. Should someone be elected to public office because they have,..."sex appeal?" Oh, and what is "swooned?" Other than buyers remorse...because I never bought his line of diarrhea...and you left out of the swoon comment the "tingle up my leg" of Chris Matthews (I think it was he anyway).

If I walk into a Ford Dealership and I want to buy a "KING RANCH" pickup truck with ALL the options for $45K WHO THE FUCK is "the government" to tell me I can't do it!!!! I thought "THE GOVERNMENT" in the U.S. was all about CAN DO" not "CAN'T DO!!!???" You know, we (THE USCITIZENS) need to start telling the govenment",.....FUCK YOU!!! ************************"BITE ME!!!******************************************

Cruel, you're on "AWAITING APPROVAL" so you obviously have a LOVE AFFAIR going on with one of the.......brrrrrr,....MODERATORS! So, I can't read your reply. (Is it Mod 6?, she likes me! I get stuff from her all the time!) When I ws in the U.S. Coast Guard they always taught us that we had to be "respectful" to "the pulic" because ,..."that's where our paychecks come from" except for ,...DRUG DEALERS,,... and we definately FUCKED with them! (Loooooooooooooooooong story) Funny,... some in "life" would tell us we need to "like" "everyone; I respectfully disagree.

How would you like to be Ford right now. The Federal Govt. will no doubt give GM an advantage in selling their cars. Since they own 70 % of the company, how about a tax break for buying a Chevy but not for a Ford...They will help them in any way they can..
