Hi everyone,

I'm posting this in the switch column because I don't know where else it would fit.

I have just very recently begun bottoming for my Dom partner....first time really bottoming for anyone. A couple of hours after each session, I begin to feel very "awake"...all my senses are heightened, and I feel very aggressive. I feel like I want to punch someone, but I temper it by listening to speed metal music or working out. Has anyone else had reactions like this? It doesn't feel like any types of sub drop I've heard about.

ps: sorry for the typo in the thread heading...I'm typing in the dark at 5am.

haha, seems like you have conflicting feelings

maybe you should try exerting a little of that aggression during the sessions
it might not be very "sub" of you, but it sounds like you need to let it out.

Quite the reverse.

You're hyped up because you are used to being the top and your mind cannot distinguish between the two. Usually when I top, I am cleaning house afterwards, I am so hyped up...but when I bottom I feel let down, drained, missing the top and craving chocolate.

Its up to you how you wish to deal with the hyperactivity spell. Some of us turn vanilla and become Stepford wives for a wee bit, some go into artistic pursuits. It depends on how you want to deal with it.

If I were you, I'd see about trying another session while you feel that second mood coming on. Some of my best submissive moments were when I felt energized in that way. Just an idea

I used to get that way sometimes from sessions that weren't good for me mentally. If your dom doesn't get you in the mindset to feel like the bottom is where you belong, so that you feel that you want, need, or deserve (any of the 3 will do) the treatment you are receiveing, the high level of energy you feel afterwards can be aggressive instead of submissive. Once I let the doms I subbed to know that I needed to get into subspace early on, I would leave sessions with high energy, but feeling submissive/passive for hours or even days after.
