Early in June of 2008 I got a very unassuming message from "m12bongo". I answered him promptly, as I always do (no need to be rude...) but I liked his cmail and told him so. We cmailed for a few days and then moved to outside emails. Within about a weeks time he invited me out for a drink. As it turned out his plans for that evening changed and he wondered if I'd like to take the opportunity to meet. I'm not always big on last minute plans and I very rarely move from email to in-person so quickly, but there was something about him that made me decide to break my 'rules'. You only live once, right?
I was nervous, to say the least, but he gave me complete and total power over our first meeting. He chose the location, said he'd be at the bar and what he'd be wearing. He said he'd wait exactly 20 minutes. He also said that it was up to me to make first contact....if I checked him out and wasnt interested, or just felt uncomfortable, or whatever, I was free to just leave without saying a word: no hard feelings.
I think that was the deciding factor for me. Talk about no-pressure! And it showed an incredible amount of respect for a self-admitted chicken-shit like me.
Anyway, he had a long busy day planned starting early the next morning, so we agreed to meet for a drink, maybe two, but it was definitely going to be an early night. We met at 8pm.
We said goodnight at 3am :)
It wasnt long after that first meeting that he accepted my petition to be his sub.
We're coming up on our 1 year anniversary and I truly couldnt be happier. I am still awed and amazed at how well he knows me...how he did right from the beginning. At how much he has taught me about myself in such a short time frame. At how he has helped me grow and accept what I kept hidden from myself for untold years. And mostly at how this incredibly attractive, intelligent, articulate, witty, sexy, patient, honorable and charming man has chosen me to wear his collar and call his own.
It's been nearly a full year of positive experiences.... I can't wait to see what the next one has in store.
