I'd take care of family and close friends so that they'd never want for anything again. I'd set up a few condos around the country so that wherever My little girl and I are we'd have a place to stay. And while we were traveling the country and the world, construction would be underway building my compound. A big main house with guest houses. Underneath it all...An industrial/gothic dungeon with winches, chains, and pulleys oh my! Also a badass protools recording studio, fully stocked with the best instruments money can buy. Not in the same room...but sound would be piped in if I wanted. Could get some interesting stuff!
Oh yeah...I'd give to charity too. In My little girl's name. I have a reputation to protect.

i'd very generously fund the summer food programs at schools.
i'd do the same for meals on wheels.
i'd buy the biggest motorhome i could find, then take a months long road trip around the country.
i'd buy houses for myself and my 2 grown children and my best friend.  mine would be on 5 acres and have a wrap around porch with rocking chairs on it with lots of gardenable land and a good sized pond stocked with trout.
i'd buy a penthouse suite at the Wynn in Las Vegas.
i'd start my own bakery.
i'd set up college funds for any grand children that might come my way.
i'd build water treatment/storage facilities in countries where fresh water isn't abundant.

A small house, maybe on the east coast of Florida, or maybe in the general area I am in now. I don't particularly like large houses, more rooms to not know what to do with.

A large hotel nearby for friends, parties, and maybe family to stay free of charge, just as a centralized location for all the festivities.

A home anywhere in the world for my mom, and grandmother, far away from me preferably, so I can revel in the debauchery. (Though perhaps close enough so I can visit sometimes.)

Money in bank, lots of it. And lots of money out of bank to spend on wild extravagances.

I'd probably also give to charity, have a wing named after me at a hospital and offer free services for those who can't afford it. I'd do this just to rub it the faces of the stuffy conservative types who usually despise the things I like. And even better, no CEOs, no CFOs, no million dollar bonuses for anyone, that didn't work well for many large corporations here in the US.

what would you buy or do?

I'd have an ocean front home and these shoes.

Heh. I love the name of the home, btw.

Damn, I like that purse!

I changed my mind. If money were no object I would pay for collarme.com to be hosted by GoDaddy. I am not sure where this site is hosted but it must be on the last remaining 386 machine on dialup in the world. Prolly one of those phone receiver modems like Matthew Broderick had in "War Games".

"Greetings, Professor Falken."

I'd set up all the younger family members with college funds.
I'd give to charity. My two favorite are "Make a wish" and "March of Dimes".
I'd have a studio built with the best
instruments money can buy. The best sound board. The best of everything to help out all of my buds in the business. All of their medical would be picked up because musicians don't have much of a health plan. I'm sure there would also be a kick ass tour buses. I'd also take care of all the roadies.

Hey Greedy! If you liked the newer 'Tage with Zak Stevens, he just started a new band called Machines of Grace. They sound real good. Jon's out of the country until July. I'll let you know when he's playing Fla. again.

I would offer free grammar and spelling classes to people on CM

You would not need money to accomplish that goal. Where do I sign up?

I would build a huge home on lots of land for His Evilness & his family to live in & a smaller one next door for myself with a connecting tunnel so they could come see me whenever they wanted & the rest of their families & friends would never know what goes on in my place.

I would have a collection of vintage & classic cars.  I so love those great old cars.

I would travel the world, seeing every nook & cranny, seeing all of the places that sound interesting, all of the places that I've read about my whole life.  I would see the places where history happened, touch walls in Spain that were built during the Roman Empire, gamble in Monaco, go back to China & spend a year or so really getting to know the country.

I would have all of the really hot clothes & shoes that I've always wanted to have, even if I can't walk in the shoes.

Without a doubt, there would be much less need in the world, if money were no object.

I've had this fantasy for a long time, assuming we actually win the MegaMillions that a bunch of us at work play twice a week.....

I'm going to call a car dealership in the town my two adult sons live in and have them pick out two sweetly loaded to the hilt and tricked out pick-up trucks (not sure which make & model yet, maybe Ford F150, Honda Ridgeline, Chevy Avalanche....whichever, as long as they're brand spankin' shiny new), deliver them to each son's driveway, knock on their door, hand them the keys and say, "Congratulations, your mom won the lottery!"

I'll just be staring at my cell phone thinking "Wait for it......wait for it......."

Oh, thats easy. If money were no object, I would have a large ranch home and own horses. Id also adopt up all the older dogs and cats from the shelters and give them their own barns and areas to roam. Id have a guest house for any friends or family traveling who needed a place to stay, and it would be big enough to comfortably stay in for weeks on end if necessary. Id have room to build a small studio for my photography, and fully equip it along with several cameras. Id even consider getting my own airplane (though I do hate to fly) so that there would be no issues in traveling to see friends and family all over the US.
